Your answer is to complex. You over think everything don't you.:lol:You needed more options since many people lean neither left nor right. I picked leaning left because if I lean on a wall or whatever I like to keep my gun ( right ) hand unobstructed.
I also picked that I keep no gun by my bed because I keep 3 guns by my bed.
Your poll is too simplistic.

:lamoSo you live in a fortress? Sure you do. Everyone that says your same thing says that about their home. "cant get in my home". BS, I could get in your home in a heart beat.
I didn't say anything about being a bad ass. Strong, yes. It is a requirement for cement masons. You cannot perform the work unless you are strong. That's why no women or weak men are cement masons.Yea, you think you are strong and bad ass. Till you meet someone stronger and more bad ass.

I do but then again I have a loaded gun in every room in my house.
EDIT: I'm interested in how your politics relates to this decision too.
I think you just plastered him with that argument. You offered a concrete example to support the position you have constructed!
You have a duty and responsibility to be ready and prepared to defend yourself, family and home.

I answered lean right and keep a gun by my bed, but that only applied to when I lived in the US. I unfortunately had to sell it when I moved to the EUSSR.
I used to always keep it right above my head behind my mattress.
why is that?
can you deploy Rabid Alpacas as a first line of defense in your current domicile?
That might be the case...but not ever case. If you were away from your home and someone, god forbid, got past your excellent home defense and stole from you...you would be a victim whether you sleep with a firearm or not.
Threre are tons of options a home owner can employ for their home defense other than sleeping with a firearm...all ready to protect their home and family.
I levels of defense to where someone is able to get past the first two, they are not going to catch me napping in my bed or empty handed.
Because he plays the role of a radical hyper-extremist (or perhaps he actually is one), with a hint of being one good fart away from blowing a major gasket and becoming a danger to himself, and/or others.
Maybe that's not exactly how he is, but that's the way he presents himself on any gun topic where someone gives an honest and genuine answer to anything he doesn't agree with.
It's that exact kind of aggressive extremism that pushes people away from the side you wish people to be on.
:lamo
Yeah right superman. How are you going to do that?
Or men with half a brain. I know concrete guys that are full on crack heads.I didn't say anything about being a bad ass. Strong, yes. It is a requirement for cement masons. You cannot perform the work unless you are strong. That's why no women or weak men are cement masons.
but you cannot support controls that target honest owners and claim to be pro gun
And we can agree to disagree too. Simple as that.
No, you either support the 2A or you don't. Simple. IF you do not support the 2A then you don't support the Bill of Rights or the constitution.
You are the type person that would make a great subject rather than citizen.
So far it's about half. Before I view the poll or read the responses I'll bet that maybe 5% of the general population does, but 98% of DPers do.
Nope, don't own a gun and haven't for many years. I don't see the point. I just live where it's safe.
Till its no long safe. That could be 100 years from now, or 10 minutes. Best to have and never need, than to need and not have.
