Do You Feel Comfortable Supporting Large Businesses?

They can't vote, don't vote, and you can't point to anything that proves they do. And as for contributing to society, immigrant labor built the railroads, the energy infrastructure, the highway system. What did you build little boy?

Unemployment compensation simply for being unemployed and a fifteen dollar an hour minimum wage, solves Labor's problem.
So all other things being equal, immigration hurts laborers. So why should I support that?

Only due to lousy public policies; our alleged wars on crime, drugs, and terror have something to do with creating our current problems.

Again, as you keep getting distracted with other issues, since immigration hurts working Americans, why should I support it?

When the Left allow millions of illegal immigrants come to America they know that many of them will have children there, and they will become citizens. Also, through some amnesty program the Left will bring about, the rest will eventually gain citizenship. They will all vote for Democrats, as will their children, and their children. Thus the Left get millions of guaranteed votes for the next century or so, and that number is always going up, as they reproduce.

2) Breaking rules

Many illegals vote because Democrats make it easy for them. This is covered up so naturally there is no evidence. This is one fraudulent practice that Trump needs to fix.

My family tree built a lot of America. They were Irish Protestants, and their surname is one of the most common American surnames.
 
We get 1,000,000 legal immigrants every year. We add a little more than 2,000,000 new jobs every year. That's not small.

And how many illegal immigrants are illegally being employed, so our people with no skills have less job choices?

Depending on when they arrived your ancestors may have faced the same cultural discrimination that others face now. Early on, hard labor was about the only thing Irish immigrants were given. They eventually earned their place and were normalized in society. Just as others have done and do.
Thing is, Hispanics coming to this country continue along mostly the same path, after numerous generations and over 100 years. They still pick fruit, dig ditches, hard labor stuff. But they come here to do it, because even though it's hard and risky, it's still better than where they were. I imagine part of that is the lack of skills and many are still illiterate in their own tongue.
But their children speak English, they are educated and they will take their place as functioning members of society.
And when they vote, they most definitely do not all vote Democrat. They bring with them a strong christian heritage and often do not care for LGBT and abortion issues. They vote against them. In CA, they once voted in some numbers for anti-immigration legislation.
Speaking of voting. I have been doing so for some 45 years. I had to show ID in SC, GA, and for 21 years in CA and now again in GA. They had my name and address on a sheet at the polling place and I had to show ID to match that.
The Irish/Welsh half of my family tree were Kansas farmers in the 1800's. My father was first generation born here with Austrian roots.

A rise in GDP does not necessarily equate to a rise in GDP per capita unless the people that you are importing average above our GDP per capita. Do third world laborers (and their children) do that? No.

My ancestors built the institutions of this country, also worked on the railroads, created companies like US Steel, defended our country in both world wars, and bequeathed their inheritance to Americans like me, their ancestors. There's a reason that the Constitution says:

Constitution said:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

These blessings are for our children and our children's children, not for the whole world.

They get 1 million alone every year just through LEGAL immigration, most of whom vote Democratic.

Exactly. The combination of legal and illegal immigration has been responsible for the exorbitant cost of living, stagnant real family wages, and record low employment. This has to stop. We'll talk about immigration once working Americans are better off.
 
It isn't immigration. It is our lousy policies.

Again, all other things being equal, increased immigration drives down wages by increasing the pool of available labor. Why should I support it? If we had record job openings and no Americans to fill those jobs, that would be one thing, but we're still looking at record lows of American employment.

Were your ancestors already here when the constitution was written or were they later immigrants? Your highlighted quote, if literally interpreted, would suggest that it only applied to those already here at the time. So do you rate those blessings or are you and your family illegitimate?

I do have ancestors that were here when this country was founded. I also have immigrant ancestors. My immigrant ancestors also supported limiting immigration in the 20's and 30's. Why should I not do what they did in the past?

I did not say a majority, I said they voted against. They did. I also said they do not vote democratic as a block. They don't.

So is that because Democrats make lots of promises to them or because republicans threaten them? Or is it a bit of both? How can you blame a voter for voting in their own best interest? It is, after all, the tribal thing to do. And we are tribal now, aren't we?

Moving the goalposts now I see. It went from Hispanics don't vote Democratic, to now it's not their fault because Democrats are nicer to them.

And yes we are tribal now, and importing massive numbers of foreigners who still hold strong foreign loyalty is directly responsible for that.

I wish I could highlight a point in history, a data point, something, and say; There, right there, this is when it all went wrong. These are the people responsible. But I can't. No one can. This condition is of our making. Somehow, somewhere, we decided that all of those who didn't thing like us were not just wrong, but anti-American. That basic belief, in and of itself, is un-American.
I have no idea how to undo this. I don't know that it can be undone. We may be witnessing the downfall of America. We are, at the least witnessing a change in the American ethos. It is a new era. Better or worse, it is what it is.
