Do we have freewill ? is it biblical ?

I always wonder what would have happened if Adam didn’t follow the lead of Eve. Afterall, Adam was not deceived. He just didn’t want to lose Eve.
So do I...by exercising his headship and saying no, would God have given Him another wife or would God have forgiven Eve since she was deceived but under Adam's headship? I dunno...

Sure but you need to expand your audience. You’re only preaching to the choir on DP. We’re well aware of your viewpoint; you’ve repeated it ad nauseum.

At least I am doing so as a form of debate. When you mention your claims of Adam and Eve, then I get to object to them as nothing more than fable and myth. That is quite different from Rev who has no intention to debate, but only to “save souls” with his constant repetitions. And your statement once again shows your clear bias by avoiding completely any reference to the year-long repetitions of DrewPaul.

More like a broken record...lol..

Adam and Eve had other children and there was no law against incest until Leviticus...that is why it can be said we are of the human family...
You need to study the genetics of incest. If A&E's kids mated with each other you would see the eruption of recessive genes being expressed for common genetic problems that result from incest: hemophilia, cleft palate, etc, etc. Check the families related to Queen Victoria & the Russian czars to see what incest leads to.

The 1st perfect human pair? Um no...

That's a point I never considered. It's a good one. Perhaps God would have, because aftrerall she was created as a helpmate for Adam. Her sin affected their relationship, but perhaps Adam could have intervened on her behalf by forgiving her. Instead Adam feared losing her, so he willingly sacrificed the spirit within him to keep her.

Interesting things to ponder...perhaps some day we'll get some answers for our inquisitive nature...

True, and sometimes when we dig deeper into the scriptures we will find the answers we seek. Or at least the ones that God has determined we need to live our lives fully.

Than what the hell's the point of all this suffering?
Because without some pain, nobody would even be aware of peace and pleasure to appreciate it. There has to be a scale of well-being to even grasp the concept.

The problem I have with this argument is twofold. First, if Adam had not disobeyed God would he have ever known suffering? If not, your argument suggests he would not have appreciated how blessed he was. (Which possibly led to his disobedience). The second problem is the new heaven and earth inhabitants aren't supposed to be acquainted with pain and suffering. Will they be able to appreciate what they do have?

Good questions...I personally don't think we have to experience one to appreciate the other IF we choose to obey our Creator...He will guide us to peace and happiness...
