Your lack of context is always on display. You're going to compare a 143 mile fence along open terrain the same as an almost 2,000 mile wall that has sections that are through rough terrain?

Your link didn't work, but I'm adding it here for those interested in the full story that puts everything in context and corrects your assumptions. Just to be clear, the 143 mile fence is the one along the Israeli/Egyptian border. There are others along different parts of the border. The article points out what I've been mentioning in my previous post.

You keep dodging the point I made about making a false comparison between the Israel border walls and one that would go along the southern border. If you read the article you linked, they wall is effective because the Israelis can properly guard the wall with soldiers since it's only 143 miles long. The border between the US and Mexico is more than 10 times that length, and nothing has been discussed regarding personnel guarding the wall. So yes, the wall won't be as effective if it isn't properly staffed and even so there's the possibility of tunnels being dug to get under it on the Mexico side. So you can call me "slow", but it's clear you lack reading comprehension and debating skills because you haven't addressed that point at all.

Israel has 440 miles of wall to police, we would have 4 times that much but with 40 times the population and twice the per capita income. Plus, 90% of our wall is away from population areas making it extremely easy to police. Keep trying!!

Two entirely different motives, and a for-profit motive is a better one than just hate. There's no money to make in terrorism; it's actually an expense with no financial return. Smuggling people across the border is a very lucrative business, and since you're a free market capitalist, this shouldn't be hard to understand. 2+2=4

It is Hilary's and the Democrat's dream of open borders that constitutes an open invitation to all the world's poor to come here and to vote here as Democrats .

It should be simple to say, look folks it's not that complicated to be like us, you need Republican capitalism, Republican religion, Republican family values, and Republican law and order values. No, I'm actually brining it back to the pertinent point since there has been no publicized information on how the wall will be guarded so you have no idea how much that along with the wall maintenance is going to cost. You keep avoiding discussing these very practical points. Even Sadder!
