Many say they don't like trump but they support his policies. The only policy I see trump enforcing is his removal of brown folks. I think what most trump voters actually support are his promises which you might as well call lies. End the war on day one, bring down prices on day one, cut gasoline to 1.50 a gallon, none of which has been done, those policies apparently mean nothing to trump supporters.

Check out trump's claims...

WOLF BLITZER: Dan, you heard President Trump speak extensively during this, what, nearly 50-minute news conference. What stood out to you?

DANIEL DALE: Well, Wolf, that was like a mini greatest hits list of claims from President Trump that have been debunked for months, some of them for years. We heard him push his usual lie that he won the 2020 election. Of course, he lost fair and square.

He said we have already solved inflation. Inflation is actually rising. It was up to 2.9 percent in August, up from 2.7 percent in July. It’s the highest since January. He said, as he has repeatedly, that he inherited the worst inflation in U.S. history. He didn’t. He inherited 3 percent inflation, just above what it is now.

It was about a 41-year high in June 2022 under President Biden, but it then plummeted toward the end of the Biden administration. He repeated his favorite imaginary figure on U.S. aid to Ukraine, saying that we’re into that war for $350 billion. That figure is not even close to correct.

A think tank that closely tracks the issue puts U.S. aid at less than half of the president’s figure. He said again that China is paying a whole bunch of tariffs to the U.S. It is U.S. importers who pay those tariffs, often pass on the cost to U.S. consumers. He also repeated some of his favorite old January 6 nonsense. He said it has emerged it’s now clear that Nancy Pelosi, the former House speaker, rejected his offer of 10,000 National Guard troops on that day.

In fact, there’s still no evidence that actually happened. He said, again, the January 6 House Select Committee deleted all its evidence, deleted all the records. In fact, in addition to a public report, Wolf, it released a huge volume, it preserved a huge volume of evidence.

And then he turned to immigration. He said he thinks 25 million migrants entered under President Biden. Even his 21 million figure from months ago wasn’t even close to true, more than double the truth, even if you don’t count the people who were quickly expelled from the country.

He repeated his claim that prisons in the Congo and Venezuela were emptied to release prisoners as migrants into the U.S. Neither he nor his campaign could ever provide any corroboration for that claim. And then this was just a gaffe, but I think worth noting, if people were confused.

He again said that he had a role in resolving a conflict between the countries of Azerbaijan and Albania. Of course, he means Armenia, not Albania.

BLITZER: Yes, that was a gaffe indeed. That jumped out at me when he said that as well.

Who wants to defend trump's greatness in his governing of America?

What they really love about Trump is that Trump plays politics as a zero sum game.
Everyone who doesn't support Trump is the enemy. And if something Trump does impacts anti-Trumpers negatively or "hurts their feelings" they LOVE it. Even if it has a negative impact on them on well.
It's ****ing weird.

Trump lies.
Trumpers believe his lies.
Trumpers call us factchecking him "haters" who suffer TDS.

Besides....................... WHATABOUT...................... Joe Biden?

Starting with Rush Limbaugh the far right media/talkers have brain conditioned the Republican voters to be scared as ****.

That's why they accept pretty much any evil now.

Listen to the gun advocates, they see dangerous situations everywhere, that's why they claim to carry a weapon. Reality be told, they are scared shitless to take a good old fashioned ass kicking from another.

They're mostly afraid they're being replaced.

That was the thing that Rush Limbaugh started and he saw he could make tons of money off of it.

Trump supporters adore and worship Trump because he is creating in America an isolationist tribal culture that they have wanted: white Christian nationalism.

It’s the same reason Iranians in 1979 adored and worshipped the Ayatollah Khomeini for creating an isolationist tribal culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Do trump supporters actually support his lies versus his policies? I would word the question how many Trump supporters support the man, Trump himself vs. his policies. We know approxmatel6y 46% of all Americans approve of the overall job Trump is doing vs. 53% disapproving. That 42% of all Americans have a favorable view of Trump vs. 52% who view him unfavorably.

https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/favorability/donald-trump

Let’s look at how republicans and republicans only view Trump and his policies. This group is the closest the polls will come to Trump supporters. 87% of republicans have a favorable view of Trump vs. 11% who view him unfavorably. Trump’s overall job approval among republicans, 88% approve, 10% disapprove. Issues or how Trump is handling them, his policies, inflation 70% approve, 24% disapprove, immigration 91% approve, 6% disapprove, Crime 90% approve, 7% disapprove and so on.

I don’t think there is many of those folks who support Trump but not his policies or handling of the issues or vice versa. Support, like how Trump is handling the issues, his policies but dislike Trump. Outside of inflation, almost exactly the same percentage of republicans who support Trump, like him, view him favorably approve of his handling of the issues or his policies toward those issues. The percentages are about the same across the board for almost every other issue. Around 90% approval from republicans, Trump supporters vs. single digit disapproval. They like the man, perhaps love him, so they approve of almost everything he does.

It's more like an addiction than a cult. I used to lean more cult, but the addiction model fits better.

Weird. Im not scared and what evil do you think I have accepted?

Let's not bring gun owners into this because I'm a gun owner, left wing, carry daily, and do combat sports like jiujitsu and kickboxing.

The guy is a hot mess. His followers are on fire if they believe that shit.

Where the hell is the white jacket?

Look up the definition of a cult.

It will clarify everything for you. I suspect you already knew that.

ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS (IMAGINED ENDS) -----THERE IS THE NUTSHELL

Let's not bring gun owners into this because I'm a gun owner, left wing, carry daily, and do combat sports like jiujitsu and kickboxing.
Why do you feel the need to carry a firearm? What is the scenario you are envisioning? Carrying a gun on the streets to me is bad ju-ju and bad juju attracts bad juju. I was in some of the worst neighborhoods daily in a big city and never felt the need to carry a gun and I was never shot or shot at.

I'm a 2 time minority (gay and black) living in a deep red state.

Well good thing juju doesn't exists.
I was in some of the worst neighborhoods daily in a big city and never felt the need to carry a gun and I was never shot or shot at.
I've literally had someone shot in front of my home and recently had someone attempted to break in my house in a small city that has relatively low crime. Maybe don't attribute your personal life experience onto everyone else.

I didn't put anything onto anyone. I asked why you feel the need to carry and thank you for responding and only related my own experiences, like you just did about someone being shot in front of your home. I was standing right next to a friend of mine when he was shot fifty five years or so ago. I can't even imagine in today's society how being black and gay must be. Good luck and karma to you.

Edit. I also live in a small town in flori-duh and I'm a registered Democrat.
