What happens to cops? It's not a suspicion, it's obvious that they are as violent as vultures. Does their jobs drive them so violent? Or maybe those cops who commit crimes were mentally ill before they applied for their jobs? I have no doubt that someone would name some other reasons of cops violence. I think it would be useful to examinate all the cops that are in charge now to cleanse our police in the name of our security. Do you agree?

There are many places that do make law enforcement officers at the very least go through preemployment mental health evaluations.
Psychological Screening for Police Officers
And many of at least the major city LE agencies have guidelines for psych evaluations while working as a LEO.
Police Psychology
There is so much more information needed though for this question. What sort of evaluation? When? On a specific timeline from employment? After certain, specific incidents? When a concern is raised about a specific officer? All of the above? Honestly, I don't have any issue with any of these things, provided the "specific timeline" one, is reasonable and would have to take into account budget. Also, they shouldn't be done just because some people may feel that "police" as a group have an issue.
Honestly when you look at the systemic racial profiling and amount of totally unnecessary violence in some departments, a psych eval should be the least of their worries. They should be held to the same standards as everyone else, and face the grand jury, not just internal investigation, when they use excessive force or harass minorities.
Fewer attempts to make law enforcement immune from lawsuits, or to ban filming cops, are also much needed to ensure they 'protect and serve'
Many times we find that claims of harassment against police are bull. And they happen so often that if all of them had to go before a Grand Jury, it would be expensive as hell and absolutely nothing else would get done.
Sure. Sounds easy. And are you paying for it?
A lot of space between "do it" and "they do their job perfectly"!!!!
I don't think mental issues are the reason. Mental issues are, at most, marginal. What happens to cops? It's not a suspicion, it's obvious that they are as violent as vultures.
