MMC, they're a couple of con artists. They both need an industrial degreaser. This is an Open discussion concerning these Two People. They are classified as Civil Rights Leaders. Should they be? Why should they be Civil Rights leaders? Is it because they are a minority and that they were at one point in their lives involved with a movement that was bigger than themselves?
What basis is there that they be defined as a Leader?
Why are they given a voice with the media? Can this be changed?
Should these two guys be addressed as a problem in the country? Should they be allowed to stir up Racial tensions in a Country that is divided by Red White and Blue? But more between Red and Blue.
Should both be told to stay out of others peoples Business and to worry about their own Communities they live in? For what reason should they allowed to be brought upon the political stage?

I dont like them either, I think they keep race alive for job security. But about 90% of what I hear about them is on conservative forums.
They are carnival barkers.
They are carnival barkers.
Both want to go after States with Stand your Ground Gun laws. All to keep that issue going over guns. So why let them even attempt to play with Civil Rights?
The only way to keep these two scum buckets out of the media spotlight is to completely discredit them. They are enabled by the media intentionally, and they seeks causes and events that can ensure a high profile. They offer the black community nothing. They prey on it. They were trailing along with MLK in the hope that they could cash in to start with. If one were to compare Jackson to a white counterpart, Jimmy Swaggart comes to mind. Both Jackson and Sharpton, as well as Holder and Obama, purport to know what other people think and feel. They "know" racism was the motivating factor in the Zimmerman/Martin fiasco. What's worse, they claim this exclusive knowledge because they are black. This is not leadership. It does nothing to improve the lot of blacks in this country. It's an appeal to emotional victimhood over events few alive ever had a hand in. They are no longer at the back of the bus. Hell, they're driving it. Either use the position they occupy for something good to lift up the black community, or sit down and STFU. We're out of time and money for posturing. Why aren't they in Detroit? Easy. There's no money there.Heya HB :2wave: .....yeah I know. But is there a way they can be kept out of the media and from stirring tensions up in this Country. Shouldn't people make it a point to tell the media to keep them out?
Shouldn't they be questioned about their so called alleged leadership.
Both use their religious title and try to integrate it with Civil Rights and Politics. Are they not pushing their Christian ideology upon others when they attempt to go political and in other states than their own?
"What basis is there that they be defined as a Leader?"
'cause Kwame Kilpatrick and Marion Barry were predisposed?
I don't think what they're doing has anything to do with guns. It is their pathetic attempt to stay relevant in a world that just needs them to grow old and die.

None of these guys use their position to talk to young black males. Now, I know black males that are Men. They work, they take care of their family, they don't blame others for their failures, and they instill positive values in their children. These guys promote none of that except in off-hand references that are rare. Young black men in the inner cities have not assumed their rightful role as family leaders and providers, and the social system we have in place does not foster that behavior. These "leaders" are the ones enabling that delinquent behavior, so their words mean nothing. The only way to get over the past is to focus on a better future. Dwelling on victimhood never cuts it. Hell, we're all victims of something.I know and they are out there speaking as if they know all the facts. Even the Gov of Florida said the only ones that know all the facts of the case are the Judge and the Jurors. Nobody else.
Plus with these two clowns out doing what they are doing. Now look at all the Democratic Politicians that have come out to open their big mouths over something they have no clue about. Other than what they have seen on TV. Plus the MS media is the one that is pushing the agenda and in connection with the Gun Control issues. Hence them bringing up about the Aurora Colorado Shooting again.
Here Jesse holds a rally in Chicago.....yet do you see this Putz. Going out and walking around to try and stop any of the Killings and Shootings here this weekend?
Now both he and Sharptones are playing that Conservative vs Liberal ideology, Red vs Blue, while they make their lil play. People need to get out and let it be known these guys aren't allowed to come round and stir up[ racial tensions.
How about we get them to look at what they are hypocrits about. Such as that Black on black crime. Blacks make up 13% of the US population. Yet are responsible for over 50% of the Murders in and around the Country. Out of all that 93% of those killed were killed by other blacks. The minority that is out killing the most. This is what Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Most of those Democrats in the Balck Caucuses don't want to talk about.
Wherein they get shown not only for their lacking intelligence. But proving them to be outright liars about what they Preach.

Both figues have been washed up for decades now. Sharpton is hanging on throgh MSNBC wherehis nickname is "Token". As a previous post here has stated they are carnival barkers. They have no content so they make up little two sentence rhymes and try to get the crowd however small to chant them like they did in the 60's. Jackson's boy is headed for prison because unlike his daddy, he got caught. Contempory blacks permit them to talk knowing that no one is listening. One of the funniest if not embarrassing things, is to listen to Sharpton speak when he tries to sound intelligent.
Thanks, Rhine. I'm trying. One of the best, most accurate posts ever! Way to nail it!
Whenever I hear Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton speak, my IQ drops 10 points. So I never really started listening to them. It also explains why people who follow them on a regular basis can't think properly and get swayed by anyone who can put 2 words together that somewhat makes sense.

They are civil rights leaders because they sold themselves as civil rights leaders and enough of the black community bought that to make it pay. I don't know why they bought it and it's a free country. If they can make a great living fanning the flames of racism in this country, I suppose they have every right to. Racism is their product and you might not care much for it and I despise it, but they are getting rich off it and they seem to be quite successful at culturing it. I detest their business but how can you tell people they can't do that and still say that America is a free country? No, the same freedom of speech that protects our right to call a spade a spade protects their right to berate this country and preach "God Damn America" like Obama's pastor, Reverend Wright does.
