Didn't take long

Anyone who is hell bent on nailing Hunter Biden to the wall for potentially trying to use his influence with his father to his personal advantage yet ignores the fact the Trump children did the same thing is either a hypocrite or a fool. I'm going with fool because the American people just clearly rejected political gamesmanship in favour of responsible governance. To the GOP .......be careful what you ask for, you might just get it.
I am curious about the ultimate goal of these investigations, because if impeachment is it then they clearly learned nothing about how difficult it is to impeach a president and have that stop them from running for office again. I am assuming they intend to impeach Biden, have it fail in the Senate, then hope it will damage Biden should he run again. If that's the case then they have only the former president to look at as an example of how that will not work.

Hysterical...just hysterical.

After being slapped silly in the mid-terms, after the Ciizenry literally told the GOP that they were running around with their pants around their ankles what do they do? PROVE that they have no earthly idea of or intention of running a House majority with any consideration for that very same citizenry.

The number 1, most important thing for them to establish ......WE ARE GOING AFTER HUNTER BIDEN!!!!

Tell me please, what public office does or did Hunter Biden hold? What bureaucratic function? What possible relevance does he have to a citizenry struggling with a world in conflict and finding its place in it.

But thats OK. As I have said in this pages in the last few days, all the GOP is capable of accomplishing is proving that they are a clown show of freaks JUST AS WE THOUGHT THEY WERE. They are not capable of actually accomplishing anything. Immigration....who cares? Crime.....just a talking point. Inflation....Infla-who? The Economy.....just fine after all!

I have never seen such a bunch-o-fools dead set on proving to the citizenry that they are in fact a BUNCH-O-FOOLS.
It is an interesting way to start things off considering the fact these midterms have shown there is little appetite for candidates pushing election fraud, so it's a pretty big risk to take in going down this rabbit hole. Similar GOP investigations and claims have not fared well in the past, and even the most recent Durham probe failed to yield the kind of results the GOP for years said would bring down the Democrats. I think a much better start for the new House would be to address all of those issues they claimed were massive problems during the many recent campaigns: inflation and crime being high on that list. Instead they're starting off with something that is probably not even on any list of what Americans are concerned about and has a good chance of yet again yielding nothing. That's a really bizarre approach, but it's their prerogative I suppose.

What will be interesting is how the slim House majority will play out for this kind of exercise, because if their intent is to impeach, you have to wonder if there will be a majority GOP willing to do so given what they know about the effectiveness of impeaching a sitting president given the current make up of Congress. You have a twice impeached former president who is still under investigation in multiple states running in 2024, so if the goal is to tarnish Biden, I'm not sure it's a good one considering the risk of making the GOP look inept if this is their focus.

I would agree that growth is the biggest component of deficit reduction, however ultimately if we want certain services in the public sector, it requires people to deliver them.
But do we need the level of spending we have to get the level of services we need? My answer is no. We have a bloated federal government and a bloated welfare state and cuts are needed.

Actually I'm about 98 percent sure I'm correct. Barring some dramatic new development there is scant evidence to support the Biden kickback narrative.

You yourself have certainly shown us nothing at all, even though you're one of the main promoters of this narrative, and instead have offered us naught but fanciful imagination
Slippery. That is not what you’re BS-ing about. You made the claim of “no evidence,” which you know is false, not what that evidence might lead to.

Just a reminder to everyone, this is the sum total evidence of that "meeting." Are you ready?

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father."

That's the basis for pages of your bullcrap. That is ALL THERE IS!!! BRIBERY!@!! :ROFLMAO: 🤪 :p
Yes, considering how much money Burisma was paying Hunter, how much Hunter seemed to be paying Joe, and considering Joe’s involvement in the prosecution of Burisma’s parent company shortly after that meeting.

You’re finally started to get this. Well done.

No idea. But whatever it is it’s the reason they were paying an otherwise completely unqualified board member $600k/yr.

Interesting comment.
First, I expect an impeachment would be highly unlikely.
But as far as damaging Biden, do you think Trump has come out of nonstop investigations without harm? I'd say he certainly hasn't. I think, in large part, as a result of what he's been through, he very likely won't be the next president.
I know I have been hoping for a very long time BOTH sides would be put through equal scrutiny since Dems have chosen that as their mode for years now. I'm all about fair and I'm hopeful we'll finally get a fair look at Joe.
Then the chips can fall where they may. Likely both parties will be looking at different contenders for 2024. In many ways, I'm not sure that would be viewed as a bad thing by either party, about their own or the other side.

Of course MTG had to get her two cents in claiming she will call for Impeachment votes on Sec of DHS Mayorkis, AG Garland and Joe Biden.

The Republicans have not understood Impeachment since Newt Gingrich in the 1990's.

Earth to Margie:
- You have no case against Joe Biden. A President's policy decisions does not amount to a "high crime or misdemeanor"
- You have no case against Mayorkas, somebody I think Biden should just cut loose for incompetence. Incompetence is not a "high crimes or misdemeanor"
- You have no case whatsoever against AG Garland.....

you are just proving Margie that you are a screaming idiot! Go back and swing more on your horizontal bar, the only thing you haven capable of doing.

But keep it up GOP. You apparently did not get the 11/8 memo. Keep it up. Lets see how locking the federal government away in a vault of nonsense for two years works for you in 2024.

Trump made his own problems. He is a fascist pig, a thug and a crook, wanna be autocrat. This the GOP hierarchy knew before pushing him forward as their nominee in 2016. They are now desperately hoping Garland solves their Trump problem for them as they do not have the guts to do it themselves. Got a golden opportunity in the second Impeachment and as usual, the Republicans spit the bit.

^^^Pure TDS.

The propaganda and brainwashing seem to be working still.

I wish technology didn’t have such a grapple on their life, while being coupled with this much hate and distain.

Civility is a must.

The ones who claim to be the most civil are actually worse than those they accuse.

That’s what brainwashing does. Makes one feel they are on a higher horse than others.

Let the truth comes out. Perhaps with all the lies for the past 6 yrs that will be hard for those to do who still cling to the imaginary reality they have been convinced is real.

Towel boy?
Does your comment have a point related to the thread subject or was it just an attempt to bait under the radar? Rhetorical question, no need to reply.

B…b…b…but Hillary!

Nope! Just pointing out a pattern of behavior. As I stated earlier, the point of these investigations is the investigations. There will be no referrals for prosecution, just an lot of bloviating over the "outrageous" behavior of Biden. And very likely, there will be collateral damage along the way. People who had virtually nothing to do with anything will have their names and reputations sullied as accusations, in the form of 'probing questions' are hurled without basis.

Nice try.....meaningless....but a nice try none the less.

Yes...Republicans politically active as members of the GOP have been exposed as a combination of Anarchists anxious to burn the entire Republican down, Racists (finally that one is completely out of from under the cloaking device), Fascists, Christian Nationalists (more Fascists), and performance artists entirely incapable of governing. There are about 2.5 of them left in National Politcs that even have a drop of public servant's blood in their veins. I am giving Mitt half a credit to get them to 2.5.

So YUP, they are running around with their pants around their ankles and NO....it is not a pretty sight but it a sight the rest of us are forced to bear regardless of how much you try to imply that THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE HERE.

"...the panel that performs due diligence for the Saudi fund concluded that no one in their right mind would give the former first son-in-law a dime. Among other concerns, the panel noted that management was “inexperience[d],” that the kingdom would be responsible for “the bulk of the investment and risk,” that its fee seemed “excessive,” and that the firm’s operations were “unsatisfactory in all aspects.” Given those reservations, it warned that the country’s Public Investment Fund should stay far, far away from Kushner’s firm—a recommendation that was overturned by the fund’s board, which happens to be led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, i.e., the guy who approved a plan to kidnap, kill, and dismember a journalist via bone saw and benefited from Kushner’s unwavering support within the White House and reported ..."

"WASHINGTON — The Trump family has struck a deal with a Saudi-based real estate company to license its name to a housing and golf complex that will be built in Oman, renewing a swirl of questions about former President Donald J. Trump’s mixing of politics and business just as he appears poised to announce a third presidential candidacy.
News of the deal, the first such international marketing agreement the Trump Organization has negotiated since Mr. Trump left the White House, emerged as the former president already faces a string of investigations into his business.
The project is slated to be built in Muscat, Oman, on a hillside adjacent to the Gulf of Oman, and will include a golf resort, villas and two hotels, a company executive said.
The Trump family is teaming up with Dar Al Arkan, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest real estate companies, for the project. ..."
