are there any early return polls yet?

I voted "yes- other" as I didn't vote a straight ballot for any one party.

Almost two weeks ago. Nunya!!

I can legally vote in Colorado but since I haven't lived there in eight years and don't plan on ever residing in Colorado in the future I thought it would be inappropriate.

I held my nose and voted for Katherine Harris for Senator it's bad enough that it looks like we'll have a speaker Pelosi but if we had a senate majority leader Reid too on top of it . . . aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!

I checked other....I voted a Republican ticket except for my local congressman who is a democrat.........

Arnold is going to win again here in CA. I voted for Angelides just so Arnold doesn't think everyone wants him in office. Hopefully when Arnold see’s there is a percentage out there that does not agree with everything he does he will work a little harder to make California as a whole happy.

The news-stock markets haven't moved much today in either direction. They're still predicting the GOP chances of maintaining the Senate at about 65% and of maintaining the House at about 19%. It looks like the Democrats have a slight edge in MO, VA, MD, RI, and MT.

The conclusion that I'm drawing from this is that, so far, there aren't any big surprises in either direction.

Katherine Harris. Wow! Did anyone out there run as poor of a campaign as she did.

Paybacks a bit-ch.

Of course... And I don't wish to say for who.

I voted Democrat for Senate, Webb, who I don't like I just think Allen is totally crazy

I voted for the Republican congressional candidate, who won't win. He is running against Moran, who beside his Jews comment blames everything on Bush on his website. Which is very nice and all, but that only tells me he is more worried about watching Bush fail that making the United States succeed.

And the DCCC can stick that in their pipe and smoke it, you want to control congress, try fielding strong candidates!

Don't you hate voting against something? It's gotta be done some times though.

I voted for some Rep, some Dems, and a Libertarian. Quite honestly I didn't feel good about any of my votes this time. I found many of the choices disappointing and just tried to vote for the least scary.

I do hate it, and I have to question the virtues of your Democratic system of government when that is the case. I don't know it was right to vote for Webb, in a way I feel like I betrayed myself because I believe Webb is a dishonest man. But Allen doesn't seem to have the ability to gauge reality objectively, and that is just dangerous.

Yeah, I get ya. But the beauty of voteing is that the person in line after you could have voted for the other guy and negated your vote.

In MN we have a similar situation between Michele Bachman and Patty Wetterling. They did so much to smear each other it was shamefull. I'm glad they're not in my district I didn't like the Independent candidate (don't even know his name) either. I won't be surprised if he wins though due to people thinking Bachman is crazy and Wetterling is incompetent.

My votes were weird this time. I voted for Halcro for governor, but being that he is an independent, it was probably wasted. I happily vote no on proposition 2 and I my votes for others were split almost evenly among republicans and democrats.

That's not perception. Wetterling is quite incompetent and her views aren't fiscally sound. Bachmann is an Ann Coulter clone without the pretty. I hope Bachmann loses and then Wetterling flies the Wellstone plane.

So I voted, and I'm pretty sure both sides (if they knew my vote) would disown me... I'm one of those really rare breeds of incredibly moderate... and I voted oddly right down the middle on everything...

Jallman, whithout me having to look up where Halcro is from, what state are you and what was prop 2 on your state? (if you don't mind my asking)

After I went to the polling place I knew was right I was sent to another one by a poll worker who misread the streets on her sheet. It took 90 minutes to vote.

In Ohio, I voted for the dem treasurer candidate. THe GOP incumbent was thrown out by Bible Thumpers over ABORTION (WTF does a treasurer have to do with abortion). So I voted for the very qualified DEM over a pathetic republican. I know the Dem will win the governorship in Ohio but I voted for Blackwell-both are good candidates compared to some of the other choices. For congress, I voted for the incumbent GOP guy though I gave a fair amount of money to a last minute dem entry (The original candidate beat her husband up and withdrew after being charged with DV). The New Dem is a friend of mine who would make a great congressman-but I don't want Pelosi as speaker.
