My political allegiance tends to align with the Democrats. I register as a DEM; first registered in 1974 in Pinellas County FL. In my local elections, party affiliation holds less sway for me.

This election cycle, back in Spring, I met a 35 year old Haitian-born lawyer and GOP candidate for a Florida State Rep seat. Florida has 120 State rep seats. After meeting him, I vetted him and his GOP opponents thoroughly. He stood head and shoulders above the others. The DEMs have NO CHANCE of winning in this particular district. I decided to assist this young lawyer‘s primary campaign. He had run and lost in 2018. Ahead of the primary, I went out canvassing on Saturdays with his campaign team. He won his primary! This makes him a shoo-in tonight!

I have a non-election-related meeting tonight, 8pm - 9pm, then I plan on immediately heading over to a GOP gathering to share in the joy of my candidate’s victory!

My life, age 66, still hums along pretty well! On Saturday, my beloved Gator football team won a game on the road against Texas A&M. On Sunday, my wife and I went to the Rams v. Bucs game. Brady led the Bucs to a come-from-behind late game winning touchdown!

My stock portfolio inched upward the last couple days. My crew just completed a remodeling job on one of my investment properties. It looks inviting! Pretty sure, I can still bench 225lbs and I don’t work out with weights. I have a lot of fun events scheduled between now and the end of the year.

Last I checked, our U.S. Constitution remains intact. I ordered a free pocket edition online yesterday. Not a single word of the one sentence Preamble changed. The first three articles still sets up our government as a Republic with three separate branches: Legislative, Executive and Judicial.

Midterms historically favor the minority party. Joe still has two more years left. Smell the coffee. Smile with me! Ride out another storm! The Fat Lady has not sung. Shoo the Grim Reaper away! Keep Believing in a Better Future!
Newly remodeled 2BR/2B; 10minutes from beach. Resale Market softened over the last three months. Probably going to furnish this home for AirBnB rentals.
