Of course the folks I've asked have been trump supporters and none of them would say yes he did lie about covid. So now I'm asking to anyone, did trump lie about covid?

I suggest you stop random people on the street and ask them, just to get the ball rolling.

Trump admitted to Bob Woodward that he lied about it and he is even on audio recording saying that he lied about it. I don't even know why this is a question any longer.

Trump lied about just about every topic under the sun. If you asked him what cutlery he used for breakfast, he would feel compelled to boast or embellish an ordinary aspect of daily life and turn that simple answer into another lie. (“Nobody ever knew a fork could be used so powerfully, people are telling me ‘Sir, you use a fork so powerfully, it’s amazing’ “)

So, of course he lied about COVID too.

It’s what serial liars do.

No.

Trump only cares about trump and he is a habitual liar. If he thinks lying about something will benefit him personally, politically or financially....the bastard will lie like a rug. Trump only cares about trump, he doesn't give a shit about all the Americans who dropped dead due to his selfish ineptness, he should be in prison, not just for all the lies he's told, but for the result of those lies.

His fat trap is his tool to attack our country, our democracy and the American people, he needs to be behind bars with a ball gag in his fat trap. He is the lowest piece of crap to ever have spent time in our White House, his playing there with our lives and serving at the pleasure of Mr. Putin should be a wake up call for all American citizens, not to ever let this happen again in our country.

All patriotic Americans need to get serious, and get out the vote in the midterms and the next presidential election. It's the only way to keep the Trump Party rightwing extremists, white supremacists, religious extremists and conspiracy nutters from running our country into the ground.

He lied to the point of being largely responsible for the deaths of 400,000 Americans. He took an oath to the Constitution of this country and its people, and clearly violated that oath many times. He should be tried for Crimes Against Humanity. I wouldn't be saying this if he had done what every other president has done: consistently worked with the government medical experts and endorsed their methods. Instead Mr. I Alone Can Fix It really f***** up! He can't stand not being the one coming up with the ideas.

No.

Usually, to post the "/thread" with any meaningful force, you have to have come up with something a little smarter than "No." But on the other hand:
Trump admitted to Bob Woodward that he lied about it and he is even on audio recording saying that he lied about it. I don't even know why this is a question any longer.
This really is /thread.

Trump admitted to down playing Covid on the onset to not panic people. Remember no one really knew what Covid was or was going to do, except the Covid gain of functioners. That would include Fauci, so for those of you who think Trump lied, well, then except the fact that Fauci lied, WHO lied, and most of all CHINA lied. They are still all lying.

Nothing needs to be said other than "no".

But on the other hand:

Only if you accept the usual unnamed sources that Woodward...and the rest of the Trump haters...depends upon.

Standing ovation..... how could a president take this covid issue so lightly and his party stand by his lies?

Because their fear of liberals outweighs their sense of patriotism.

Just observed a COVID 19 map of where the numbers are increasing fast ...... Florida appears to be an
epicenter extreme.

You mean when he said it came out of the Wuhan Virology Lab? Or when he said it's the China virus? Hey, we are now seeing he was correct.

Depends on what you're trying to do, I suppose. If you're just trying to make sure everyone knows what you think about the subject, then sure. But then, everyone who pays attention on these boards already knew what you think about the subject. On the other hand, if you're trying to make a convincing case for your position, then you need to do better than that.
Only if you accept the usual unnamed sources that Woodward...and the rest of the Trump haters...depends upon.
CBS (and other media outlets--but I recall hearing it on CBS youtube) played the tape of Trump telling Woodward he lied about the seriousness of the virus to the American public, because he "didn't want to start a panic." I heard it. Trump's own voice, his own words--he said to Woodward that he knew Covid was highly contagious and deadlier than even the worst flu, but told the American public otherwise so as not to start a panic. I remember what he said to the general public about it as well. He specifically said it was less virulent and deadly than an average flu. Making a claim you know to be false has a name--we call it "lying."
Trump admitted to down playing Covid on the onset to not panic people.
Yeah...we speakers of English call that "lying."

Remember no one really knew what Covid was or was going to do, except the Covid gain of functioners.
Not sure wtf "gain of functioners" are, but there were plenty of infectious disease experts sounding the alarm in December of 2019. To say that no one knew what Covid was or that no one knew what it was going to do, is pretty disingenuous. More to the point, Trump himself admitted he knew what it would do before it got here, and admitted he told the American public something different from what he knew. Again, we call that "lying."

That would include Fauci, so for those of you who think Trump lied, well, then except the fact that Fauci lied, WHO lied, and most of all CHINA lied. They are still all lying.
I'll grant that China may well be lying, but Fauci and WHO haven't. No idea what you're on about here.
