Nothing needs to be said other than "no".
Depends on what you're trying to do, I suppose. If you're just trying to make sure everyone knows what you think about the subject, then sure. But then, everyone who pays attention on these boards already knew what you think about the subject. On the other hand, if you're trying to make a convincing case for your position, then you need to do better than that.
Only if you accept the usual unnamed sources that Woodward...and the rest of the Trump haters...depends upon.
CBS (and other media outlets--but I recall hearing it on CBS youtube) played the tape of Trump telling Woodward he lied about the seriousness of the virus to the American public, because he "didn't want to start a panic." I heard it. Trump's own voice, his own words--he said to Woodward that he knew Covid was highly contagious and deadlier than even the worst flu, but told the American public otherwise so as not to start a panic. I remember what he said to the general public about it as well. He specifically said it was
less virulent and deadly than an
average flu. Making a claim you know to be false has a name--we call it "lying."
Trump admitted to down playing Covid on the onset to not panic people.
Yeah...we speakers of English call that "lying."
Remember no one really knew what Covid was or was going to do, except the Covid gain of functioners.
Not sure wtf "gain of functioners" are, but there were plenty of infectious disease experts sounding the alarm in December of 2019. To say that
no one knew what Covid was or that
no one knew what it was going to do, is pretty disingenuous. More to the point, Trump himself admitted he knew what it would do before it got here, and admitted he told the American public something different from what he knew. Again, we call that "lying."
That would include Fauci, so for those of you who think Trump lied, well, then except the fact that Fauci lied, WHO lied, and most of all CHINA lied. They are still all lying.
I'll grant that China may well be lying, but Fauci and WHO haven't. No idea what you're on about here.
