so was the definition in the Middle ages 🔆🔆

I have to go off topic. I just had this flashback to the past and vivid scenes of Klaus Kinski in many roles. Ever heard of him? I don't know too many German actors, if any. But saw many spaghetti westerns that featured Klaus Kinski. Always the bad guy. Klaus Kinski was the perfect bad guy. I don't think he had to act it. His piercing eyes and unstable disposition had to be exactly what directors wanted. So he winds up as ObersturmbannfĂĽhrer Hans Mueller in a spaghetti westernish WWI movie, Cinq pour l'enfer. Klaus as Count Dracula in the 1979 Nosferatu.

when the frankis land was divided. the west became france later, anf the east became Germany later. …. in short ….

Was Gauls and Franks same peoples?

Welllllllll, kinda..not really.

The Eastern Francia Kingdom lasted 100 years before it became a very decentralized Holy Roman Empire".

The Western Francia Kingdom became the Kingdom of France and has remained so since.

Sorry but technically Germany did not exist before 1871. The region known as Germany today, was historically a mess of various kingdoms and other types of countries, that were very loosely unified under the Holy Roman Emperor. They often fought each other and conquered each other.

As for England, France and Russia. They all existed in 1871 and had existed since 927 for England, 987 for France and 1547 for Russia. As with "Germany", there were precursers for all 3.. Murcia in England, the Francian kingdoms in France and Moscovy/Kivean Rus in Russia.
you need not say sorry . just read what i wrote again.

Actually no. 1871 it went from Northern German Confederation aka Greater Prussia to the German Empire.

Technically the unification happened in 1866 after the Northern German Confederation was formed after the Prussians kicked the Austrians ass and sized the last Austrian land up north and broke their influence on the various states there.

One could also argue that Germany existed during the Roman times as the word German comes from the Roman name for the area.. Germania.
actually …. yes …. as i said
