The point is, Kelly changes/changed his opinion of Trump like most change their underwear depending on his audience.

Obviously Trump’s support of torture and war crimes pales in comparison to the horror of forgiving college loans. But seriously, I do agree that US institutions and the American people will um, trump Trump’s hinted at plans for dictator-like governance, should they amount to more than his usual bluster and be attempted. The same sort of people who took to the streets in unprecedented celebration of his defeat in 2020 will take to the streets again, and to paraphrase the late activist Mario Savio of years past, throw themselves on the levers and gears of the machinery of Trump’s tyranny.

The reason Trump has to be kept off the ballot with the 14th Amendment is that we already tried voting him out. We tried to get rid of him by having a vote, letting "the people" decide. They decided. They voted for Joe Biden.

There were some protesters who assaulted police officers. I called for those people to be prosecuted even before the left started pretending to care about the officers.
