The Department of Homeland Security has responded after anti-ICE protesters in Portland, Oregon stormed an ICE facility and assaulted federal law enforcement officers on Saturday.

"Secretary Noem’s message to the rioters is clear: you will not stop us or slow us down. ICE and our federal law enforcement partners will continue to enforce the law," reads a post on X. "If you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
"Four officers were injured in the attack, which came after the city hosted a "No Kings" protest at 1 p.m. - which was framed by officials as a "large-scale free speech gathering."

Portland has become increasingly anarchist.

Attacking Fed officers?

That's probably a felony. Enjoy jail, assholes.

Officers with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security detained at least one person after demonstrators used objects to break through a door at the building.

The Portland Police Bureau said early Sunday morning that its officers arrested three people through the course of the night.

Portland police said they responded to the scene in part to guide emergency services into the building for a federal officer who said they had been injured. Police told the crowd not to interfere with the medical personnel and declared a riot shortly after.

“As the situation stabilized, PPB learned the federal officer did not require medical treatment,” the bureau said in a written statement early Sunday morning.

Thus Spake TylerDurden

Wrong.

What else you got since for 4 years Biden poured gas on the fire?
271,000. That's how many illegal immigrants were deported in 2024. More than the best year Trump ever had and without troops in the streets, without armoured vehicles cruising through neighbourhoods, without squads of agents showing up at schools wearing body armour and openly carrying weapons.
Trumps America...

I am in Portland and this was a "mini-riot" or "violent protest", very tame stuff comparted to what Porland went through in recent years. A few or several hundred gathered to protest ICE, a handful or two threw stuff mainly firecrackers and a few threw rocks. The police used tear gas and rubber bullets to break up the crowd. Three were arrested, one for throwing rocks at a building, one for stealing, and someone used pepper spray on an officer when he was making an arrest.

It isn't even clear if any officer was significantly injured.

Lots of noise, chaos, and a broken glass door.

If it was a "riot" it was a borderline one.

Hmm...

If your report is accurate, it appears that the Rose City Antifa is a pale shell of what they used to be. Oh well.

One thing is for sure, they should know that attacking federal buildings won't be tolerated now and they won't be easily released when they get arrested.

The Civil Rights Movement also saw violence from all sides. Guess who was on the correct side of history? Hint: It wasn't law enforcement.
