Maybe some of the claims were denied, because the people didn't have the coverage. Kind of like someone who doesn't have comprehensive coverage on a car, trying to get the insurance company to pay for a tree branch falling on it. They aren't paying for the needed coverage, and thus the claim is denied.
Insurance is not an "all risk" business people. Sorry to tell you.
Here is where we unite. There is no doubt that the status quo is a failure, unfortunately, liberals like you and FR feel that it is necessary to push another failed system in its place rather than using free-market solutions that are quicker and more cost-effective. Can we not try that first before we go all out on 20% of the economy?I have to ask, are you a shill for United Health Care? Seriously, there is a thousand examples out there of insurance companies denying benefits for the most ludicrous of reasons. Check the headlines for the young girl who just died recently because her health provider delayed until it was too late, and only approved after the line had been crossed that she could have been saved. Granted, we have not ourselves read the fine print..but really, if they have any normal standard employee offered program, I do not see any valid reason as to deny benefits.
Even then, you accept that people should just suffer and die? Nice society you want to build there, I think I will pass on your dream society.
Simply amazing. So sad we have so many robotic morons in this country that want, and think, we should just not reform.
p.s. I got notified Monday that my insurance for some reason did not cover my opthamalogist visit, so therefore they want payment for the visit. While it is a meager $250 they want, the thought still occurs to me everyday. If they will deny this claim for something so little and routine, what the bleep will happen if I actually do become sick?

No.Isn't that what we've been doing for the last 50+ years?
