Why is there such rampant anti-semitism in the Middle East? The answer is quite simple, radical Islam has its roots founded deeply in the rise of the Third Reich. Islamic-Fascism it seems is not just some buzz word describing a new form of Fascism rather it is actually the very same form of Fascism that plagued Europe throughout the 1930s and 40s. This time though it is not Fascism in Germany, Italy, and greater Europe which we are fighting, it is Fascism in Iran, Syria, Iraq, and the greater Middle East where this Fascsim has taken such a strong root. While in Europe Fascism was stomped out by 1945 and they have embarked upon a policy of liberalism, in the Middle East Fascism has had 50 years to fester into the disease of Radical Islamisism that we now are confronting only today.

There was a good program on the history channel today that described these links between the Third Reich and radical Islam very clearly, however, if you missed it I found an article from the San Francisco Cronicle here's a short clip from that article that sums up this link pretty succinctly:

He called upon all Muslims to "kill the Jews wherever you see them." In Tehran's marketplace, it was common to see placards that declared, "In heaven, Allah is your master. On Earth, it is Adolf Hitler."

Here's the begining of the article:

Denial of Holocaust nothing new in Iran
Ties to Hitler led to plots against British and Jews

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has shot to the forefront of Holocaust denial with his rabble-rousing remarks last month. But it's more like self-denial. The president of Iran need only look to his country's Hitler-era past to discover that Iran and Iranians were strongly connected to the Holocaust and the Hitler regime, as was the entire Islamic world under the leadership of the mufti of Jerusalem.

Holocaust Cartoon Contest in Iran.

In response to the cartoon about Muhammed, the leader of Iran has called for a Holocaust Cartoon Contest. he has stated again that the Holocaust never happened and renewed his call for Israel to be wiped from the face of the earth.

Yeeha!

The thing is not only did the holocaust happen but the Iranians had an intricle hand in it as did the Islamic world in general, they were allied with the Nazis and infact this new rise in Arab radicalism is not a new phenomenon, much like the Cold War was merely a continuation of WW2 so to is the current war on terror. The geography may have changed but the enemy remains very much the same. The place now known as Iran was once called Persia, guess what Iranian means? Aryan. The name change came in 1935 during the time they were fermenting their links with Nazi Germany.
