That's great if what he says is true about those funds not benefitting US energy initiatives. I did see the following:

"The projects primarily include funding for carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) and decarbonization initiatives."

I think that's shortsighted myself. It seems like we would want cleaner air and to reduce our greenhouse emissions. There are also concerns people will lose jobs due to the cuts. But hey, we're all going to die anyway, right?
