U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright today announced the termination of 24 awards issued by the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) totaling over $3.7 billion in taxpayer-funded financial assistance.www.energy.gov
"The projects primarily include funding for carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) and decarbonization initiatives."
I think that's shortsighted myself. It seems like we would want cleaner air and to reduce our greenhouse emissions. There are also concerns people will lose jobs due to the cuts. But hey, we're all going to die anyway, right?
