the general demographic of the crowd targeted are typically pro gun...

The demographic of people who commit most crimes with guns is different from the demographic of people who were killed in Las egas, so you have to look twice if you want to sell a gun to some high risk "demographics".

Sandy Hook was the tipping point, as a country, we are blasé about our young folks getting shot down with auto weapons, there is no easy answer. Perhaps it is time to revise the wording of the second amendment, in its current form, it is not working in modern day America. The Vegas shooter had 10 guns, all legal who knows, bit no one needs 10 guns !!

Indeed so.....The founding fathers would have never allowed crazed citizens to easily obtain weapons of mass destruction in the guise of "self defense" or over throwing the very government they created

Fully automatic weapons are illegal in the US. You can re-engineer them and make them fully auto...also illegal.

Wow. Felons lose many rights and one of them should be the right to bear arms.

The right to vote is a more important right than bearing arms. A felon should have neither.

No most states give back the right to vote after they have completed their.full sentence Including probation/parole and any monetary obligations.
Now voting is not a constitutional right, however owning a gun is. Why is it okay to let someone vote but not give his right to hunt and.shoot after he has paid his debt to society?

remember all those bannerrhoid politicians who screamed for waiting periods and background checks after SandyHook even though the killer murdered his own mother to get guns she had registered, undergone a background check and waited to buy? the fact is-gun banners don't care about the facts of a case, if there are dead innocents, that's good enough for some of them to start howling for erosion of our freedoms even though such schemes invariably wouldn't have stopped the killing
