Democrats Have Nothing To Sell But Hate" - Texas Gov. Abbott Responds After Sleazy Dem Rep's 'Hot Wheels' Slur

I'm not coy about anything. I tell you exactly what I think about people being failures today pretending they're victims of the past.

Did you know that people hold most of their wealth in their homes and that homes in black communities have less value than ones in white communities even when their respective income levels are the same?

Thus, many whites are able to inherit wealth from parents whose homes increased in value while black cannot.

The past is now.

Speaking of race and Texas, its a minority white state, yet white people hold all the political power.

A MAGA model for America.

Yes, things are changing, demographics are changing. Political power doesn't change overnight.

Yes, I know that. What do you want to do about it?

Where did I say I was a victim of the past? 😆
The irony is you're the one making an argument out of pretend and make believe.

1. Black Americans were actual victims of racial economic segregation. That actually happened soft white. It's been 65 years since it ended. You should be able to accept it as fact by now. Emotionally.

2. I'm Black and Asian but not Black American. I come from a wealthy immigrant family. I'm a not rich but certainly very comfortable first generation American from a family who's largely in the medical field. Doctors, surgeons, neo natal specialists, my wife and daughter are both nurses. We weren't victims of American segregation. I'm actually advocating for reparations on behalf of victims whom my tax dollars would be going towards.

You're right, I don't want to address the economic disenfranchiment of the past. Not because it's not important but because it has become a shibolith for classes of people today to explain their failures. Get over it for crying out loud.
So to sum up you have no rational reason why victims of injustice shouldn't receive justice, just an emotional one? Isn't that what I've been saying this entire time? 😆

Your comments say it.

I'm happy that your family and you are successful. That's what's supposed to happen for hard working people in America. You're part of a first generation American family...welcome I'm very happy to have you here.

But, since you are American now, a first generation family, do you feel a responsibility to compensate other Americans who have been wronged in the past?

Perhaps you could stop claiming that "people being failures today pretending they're victims of the past" when consequences of the racist past are still with us.

Yes, things are changing, demographics are changing. Political power doesn't change overnight.

I gather you're not familiar with the strategy of gerrymandering.

Keeping people in segregated communities enables this.

Where? Quote me. It's you saying it and being predictably frail about the things coming out of your own keyboard. 😆 Why are you still pretending at me like im not going to laugh at you for it?

I don't care what you're happy for. You really want me invested in your feelings don't you?

I certainly want my country to represent the values of integrity and justice and I don't see how it does that by denying victims of its injustice their justice.

It's not just an emotional reason. It's a realization that we handicap everyone if we can't leave the past behind. The American population has very nearly doubled since the 1960s, from 179 million to 340 million today, meaning half the country has absolutely nothing to do with American slavery and segregation of the early 20th century. When do we let go of the past and depend on individual hard work and genius to get ahead in life?

If you feel guilty start making reparations on your own. You have assets, start giving them away to homeless blacks on the street.

When generational poverty is a thing of the past; when health care and educational opportunities exist in minority communities at the same level they do in white communities, and most of all, when we stop tolerating racism.

Internment of Japanese Americans occurred during WW 2 and still they didn't get reparations until the 80s, the same decade when my parents arrived here just in time to support it with their tax dollars. That's how this shit works. Germany is still paying reparations jews who survived the holocaust.

I don't feel guilty. You keep making arguments based in feelings because your frail self doesn't know how to think any other way. My argument is that America is guilty because America economically disenfranchised Black Americans. It's happened. It's a fact. Process it so we can move the conversation along. 😆

How is that done?

Shaming and ****ing white trash culture into minority demographic status until inertial social pressures pushes them towards extinction.

Oh, now I get where you're coming from...you hate whites. I should have picked that up from the beginning. 😊

I hate white trash. Unlike you I'm not coy about my dislike for white trash Confederate Democrats and their white trash culture who, when given the opportunity, last voted in favor of maintaining segregation. That's a trash people. 😆

DEI :)
Infrastructure investments and all sorts of programs that are too numerous to list that you would know about if you cared to be part of the solution.

So, revenge then. You really ought to let go of that anger.

I know about those programs. So, your idea of how to end discrimination is to discriminate. Got it.
