It has to do with what i was referring to, investing in districts and having teams that can organize political action which i think will do more long term good than investing in candidates.I thought we were just talking about the state and district congressional races. The presidential race has nothing to do with gerrymandering.

Thats true.This year is an exception for the presidential race. Democrats needed to do whatever it took to flip Georgia for Joe Biden.
You have an argument for most elected offices, but at the federal level, it is not just about where the candidates live or even whole states. It is about the whole country.
