Democrats are gutless

Except it has not. The Democrats have not done anything remotely close to the abuses the Republicans did.

Well, they're trying to undo the damage hopefully. I think that the history books are going to create for posterity a record of one of the most abusive, corrupted governments in US history.

trump and his officials. They are breaking the law. You can choose to deal with reality or not.

That was a short answer and no, you are wrong unless you think a citizen's right to appeal is against the law. Please don't tell me that you believe this.

Btw, I am still waiting for YOUR sordid list of Trump's lawbreaking.

Two years, 40 democrats lawyers including Hillary donors, nada. You must impeach. The sooner the better.

trump isn't "appealing", he is breaking the law, now.

Want more? Go read the New York Times' article on decades of trump tax fraud.

I agree, except the "one of" part, and that's saying a lot.

Yes, you're right. I actually meant "the" most abusive, corrupt governments in US history.

You keep repeating the above, and have been proven wrong. Trump has not been indicted for liberal lunacy, and wishful thinking. ;)

Got anything else besides a politically biased anti-Trump opinion piece?
That one has worn its welcome out on this forum, rest assure.

Was the question whether trump has commited crimes, or your new quesiton whether he has been indicted, when DoJ has a baseless rule that he cannot be indicted while in office? Your inability to deal with reality speaks for itself.

Impeach him and have a trial and make the case

And every single American will know the case against Trump.

The lying.
The wink wink offers of pardons
The fact that his campaign manager was sharing data with Russians

Watching them deliberate and wring their hands about impeachment sickens me. They're motivated by fear. It's reeks of weakness. Republicans did not hesitate to impeach Clinton for lying about sex. They did not hesitate to drag Hillary Clinton through the mud and probe her emails over an alleged lie about Benghazi. Trump has told a mountain of lies and has clearly offered witnesses pardons and instructed other witnesses to lie.

Watching Trump refuse to comply with any requests as Dems look helpless is comical.

Are you trying to bait democrats?

They should have done it right after the Mueller report drop. By waiting it makes it seem like they're not sure that Trump did anything worth impeaching.

The Republicans only gained by investigating Bill Clinton. G.W. Bush beat Gore. Gore distanced himself from Clinton because of the whole scandal. And the Hillary investigation certainly hurt Hillary.

At the end of the day being impeached is a stain on Trump's record. It hurts him with ordinary people who don't follow the details. It also forces people to learn the details about why he's being impeached. That's the big win of impeachment, everyone in the country will know why. They'll know about his lies and obvious attempts to silence witnesses.

I don't really think you comprehend the gravity of the situation that face's Pelosi.

With a guy like Clinton, you can afford to miss, Clinton's not bat **** crazy like Trump. With Trump, there is no way forward but to have a path that will absolutely remove him. The stakes are too high. I believe she will impeach, she's just allowing stink to rise, until the stink is so great that the odor is unmistakable and unavoidable, like a huge turd in a living room, you got to get rid of it, there's no way out.

Observing the events that have occurred so far, just when you think the stink is too strong, it gets even worse.

I'm pretty sure, in the coming months, impeachment hearings will commence. Well, for one thing, the damn is cracking:

To wit:

1. Judge orders Stone redactions removed from Mueller report
2. Judge orders Flynn redactions removed from Mueller report
3. House Intel Cmte to get Mueller intelligence material
4. IRS legal case to withhold Trump tax returns crumbling
5. NY to mak Trump tax returns available to Congress
6. Trump accounting firm ordered to obey subpoena
7. Trump losing subpoena fight over bank records

The dynamics of impeaching the president, especially someone who is powerful and unpredictable, someone who lusts after power, someone who is drunk on power, and on top of it, not very bright, the dynamics, the gravity of the situation, is mindbogglingly great. I don't think you can comprehend it, your comment reeks of smallness, someone who has very little imagination.

Give it time, and prepare to have your nostrils to be assaulted.

What is happening is House Democrats are abusing their power by defining partisan witch hunt investigations as "oversight".

It's only a witch hunt if there are no witches. One would think that the "most transparent" president would want to clear things up.

He shouldn't have to clear things up with endless investigations due to abuse of power wanting to topple Trump.

Trump isn't. Article 1 gives Oversight responsibilities to the Congress and its not tied to new legislation.

It's ridiculous to use the term oversight as a means of attempting a coup. It sets a precedent where when we have a Democratic president, such as Biden (or whoever) Republicans can use the term oversight to do investigation after investigation after investigation on every single aspect of Biden's life. Doesn't matter whether he is innocent of everything. Investigating him to death will help obstruct his agenda, not to mention nobody is squeaky clean. I don't think this should happen on either side. It's disgusting that partisanship on both sides has reached this level. It has to end.

They are not attempting a coup. If anything they may be able to save this Constitutional Republic of ours from a President and an Administration and an entire Party for that matter that simply does not care whether it lives or dies.

You will discover the Constitutional Merits of Trump's ridiculous positions as he loses Court battle after Court battle. His current effort while amounting to a stalling tactic of some merit has no legal merit and will not improve on the Administration's lowly 6% win rate in the Courts.

Doesn't change the fact that Democrats are abusing their power in a wild goose chase trying to find something on Trump, anything, that they can get him for. Just as Harry Reid's nuclear option came back to bite Democrats in the ass, so shall this. If Biden or some other Democrat wins the presidency in 2020 look for oversight after oversight after oversight. The investigations will go on and on and on until they find something to get the president for.
