I'm not ashamed to be born white, but I also know that there are privileges that being born white and middle class gets me and I help others who aren't so fortunate to level the playing field.

Ever heard of Liz Warren? She is very white and progressive. I don't know of any liberals who hate her.
 
If they're stupid enough to demonize ~40 percent of the population then we should let them.

Doesn't matter. For the collectivist left, individuals are irrelevant, all that matters is what group you belong to. I'm surprised you don't realize this, because it's exactly the same way you think about people.

The Liz Warren who complained how "the system is rigged" while she received a salary of 400k for teaching one class? The Liz Warren who faked being a minority in order to further her own career? Give it some time, they'll come after her soon enough, and when they do she'll simply retire and disappear.

I hope she does. Her legacy is embarrassing but only liberals are even capable of feeling shame. If the right had one remaining ethical instinct it was abandoned long ago when they began electing, exclusively, crooks and embiciles.

There is no collectivist left. It only looks that way to libertarians who refuse to understand that you are part of a very interdependent society and that your rights and freedoms come tethered to very real responsibility to other people and the society in which you inhabit as a whole.
One of the core ideas orf constitutional law is where is the line drawn between individual rights of a person, the rights of others, and the stability and well being of society. None of us exists completely independently or a vacuum. THis is also why your libertarian economic ideas crash and burtn faster than Wile E Coyote when they are even attempted in a minor way.

Liz Warren did not teach just one class at Harvard for that $400K and she was a senator at the time.

As Elizabeth Warren closes the night with complaints about the cost of college for students, just remember she was paid $400,000 to teach one class.

Do you sincerely believe that 3 people of different ethnicity/races and economic backgrounds have the same rights and opportunities to succeed in the US? Not even white men and women have the same chance of success or the same rights in the US. People of different religions and sexualities also face different obstacles to success in the US, despite what you want to believe.

Are liberals attacking gentrified suburbia because we are self-hating white people or because we are environmentalist feminist-anarchists who hate urban sprawl and the pollution of our cars? Nobody ever explains to me why I should be outraged at my own existance.
 
Many African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans oppose demonizing either male or female Euro Americans.

Those four groups are wise enough to realize that when Euro Americans finally do become a small minority by the end of this century, a paradise this country will NOT be.

My ex-wife went to school to be a nurse. She had a 4.0 average, was on the Dean's list, and had to wait two years to get into the nursing program (which only allowed in a certain number of people at a time) while blacks who didn't even have a 3.0 average were let in. Some white privilege.

One reason Trump won in 2016 was because whites were not allowed in the Democratic party.

How are white people not permitted or encouraged to be part of the democratic party? I've voted Democratic since the mid-1990s and I've never felt unwelcome.

I'm a white heterosexual female and I've never been attacked by the democratic party. I think that the DNC is too centrist and corporate and I'm hoping to push them farther left because of my progressive socialist ideas. That idea that I acknowledge the social benefits that being white in the US does not in any way mean that I am being attacked. I am merely accepting that white middle-class people have an easier road to success in the US than other races and ethnicities. The fact that I am not Christian means that I have been attacked and paid a price by the Christian majority is some cases.

Guaranteeing equal rights for others doesn't mean that anything is being taken from you in the process.

Why does it seem that racism is part of your self-image and of what you think it means to be an American because whenever people address the effects of racism some people seem to think that we are anti-American because we do so?
