He was at a press conference, he is the highest ranking Democrat in the committee in charge of immigration and he clearly identified himself as a senator from California. They could have asked him to wait but instead the federal goons forced him to the ground and handcuffed him. He wasn’t dangerous and they knew who he was, that is false arrest.

He staged that whole business, and I think you are intelligent enough to be fully aware of that. I mean, supporting the party line is your duty here as a loyalist of the party, but please give that senator fella more credit. He planned that all out and knew exactly what he was doing.

And you really ought to upgrade your logic projection skills, as you contradicted logic twice in that post I am quoting. Sure they could stop... but I doubt that is what they are trained to do with somebody who is actively resisting. If it takes four guys to remove him then they are not going to stop until the potential threat is removed. THEN they figure it out, like they did, and they let him go, like they did and then he continues with his free speech, like he did. I really don't see what the big deal is and the absolute refusal to just admit that Padilla acted like a bit of a dick, was removed but at the end it was all good. Why does admitting that bother you so much?

Actually, I have to disagree with Bodi on this one, because it isn't related to respect (lack of) for LEOs or active duty folks that allow this stuff to be posted without RoboCop coming in here to eliminate the posts and accounts. Y'all can post about this in the most entertaining ways possible. That's where I disagree with Bodi. You folks keep on posting your entertaining thought processes.

Slight problem, though, is y'all are sort of making that Alex fella look a tad stupid, IF you don't think he staged all that so threads like this one would show up on the Net.

This kind of reminds me of a show many years ago --- "masked goons" - "kidnapping Democrats" --- that show was "Get Smart" and it was sometimes very entertaining.

And that is plural, isn't it? Means having to put up with more than one Democrat at a time. Now THAT would be punishing! One is plenty enough tough, but two or more --- very difficult to imagine.
