voting records are to see if they have voted in the past to make sure they aren't DEAD. SS numbers aren't on our voter rolls and don't have to be on yours. Mine is my driver's license number. The Crosscheck process has lots of false positives, is poorly designed, concludes people with the same first and last, but different middle names, are the same person, and more, such as it's supposed to match SSN but does not. So, if you want to get rid of a lot of minority voters, use a ****ty program that does half-assed matches to find a bunch of "duplicate" voters, and flag them all. Then design a process to remove them that you also KNOW will see fewer responses from young minorities who don't own a home (and who move more often). Sure, you'll get a few white people, but the numbers are clear that you'll kick off a whole lot more democratic-leaning minorities than Real American GOP voters. The fact that this POS process is Kobach's baby is plenty of reason to give him NOTHING for his commission that a court doesn't order you to hand over.
