Dem governor declares COVID-19 emergency ‘over,’ says it’s ‘their own darn fault’ if unvaccinated get sick

And you are diverting from the Thread topic for your own narrative, doesn't matter what the governor of TX supposedly did or didn't do, the end results it is a personal responsibility issue that you want mandated. Abbott knows that isn't the role of the state government. I support what the governor of Colorado, a DEMOCRAT stated and that is what is important. This isn't about Trump, this isn't about Abbott, this isn't about your opinions it is about the Constitution and what our Founders created, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Do you know what it means to BAN the mandates?
So what you are saying is that your criticism is selective. You think that Democrats are totalitarian for instituting indoor mask mandates, but you see nothing wrong with Republicans banning businesses from instituting vaccine and masking requirements for their own employees.

And what you are saying is that you have selective outrage over the governor of TX while ignoring the governor of Colorado and his statement? As I stated Abbott banned a mask mandate but has no control over what a private business does something you cannot seem to grasp. Sorry but you are out of touch with reality. A private business can do whatever they want regarding vaccine mandates, the state and federal gov't cannot!! Mandates at the federal level are unconstitutional

If you are going to lecture someone then you need to know what you are talking about. Governor Abbot banned private businesses from instituting mask and vaccine mandates for their employees. So he did indeed exert control over private businesses in the state of Texas and private businesses in the state of Texas cannot do what they want in regards to vaccine mandates.

governor Abbott does not have that authority so why is this even an issue for you. Federal law regarding personal freedoms does not allow a governor to mandate what a private business does with regards to the vaccine. You seem to want to make a issue of this, why? you think I support everything a Republican says or tries to do? I support the private sector making that decision but I don't support the Federal gov't forcing it on the American people. I have a choice where to spend my money but don't have much of a choice regarding moving out of the country.

I don't know but we take care of liberal drug addicts, alcohol abusers, and leftists who refuse to take personal responsibility for anything.
Don’t forget the conservative drug addicts, alcohol abusers, and rightists who refuse to take personal responsibility for anything. Your argument has zero merit.

I don't see any reason to fuel your ego with any more posts, bye

Finally a Democrat who gets is, personal responsibility and the reality that bureaucrats aren't parents. Where are those vaccination mandate supporters now? Words of wisdom here
I know a guy who called it the election infection. Took it home and gave it to his father who died from it. Go be a carrier. It's the personally responsible thing to do.

Yep, but the reality remains, do what you are supposed to do and it doesn't matter what someone else does

Giving someone attention who doesn't deserve it is called that fuel. This is a debate forum, either debate the issues or stop getting my attention
Aren't you in charge of and responsible for who you give your attention to? You came to debate who deserves your attention? Who is seeking it from you?

I call it taking away the freedoms based upon liberal bullshit. where is forced vaccination from a virus listed in the Constitution? you want to give up your freedoms that is your choice, but you don't make that choice of others.
The constitution doesn’t specifically grant states the right to mandate vaccines but courts have repeatedly ruled that states have this right.

My view is that the stubborn antivaxers are willing to lose their jobs not to get vaccinated. So, don’t let them in restaurants, ball parks, theatres, etc. As Kirk said about the Klingons, “let them die.”

Yeah, so great that you think risking the health of others in a pandemic is worth not getting a vaccination and then make some absurd and retarded comparison to the Nazis over vaccinations.

These folk ain't protecting "individual freedoms", they're just promoting the spreading of Covid in a pandemic and threatening the health of others.
I choose to drive drunk because no govmint is gunna tell me what to do.

Then we will live by the courts, show us the court ruling on vaccines? your view is irrelevant to others who make the choices that you may not like but that is their choice, their consequences good or bad. Please stop trying to convince us that you care

That's what social distancing has always been for, leave them unto themselves. And at this juncture, the unwilling to vaccinate should be at the end of the line for any COVID medical intervention should a given healthcare facility be swamped. No one who took the pandemic seriously should be denied rationed care for any pandemic denier.

Oh I don't think anyone can make that mistake. America leads the world in COVID deaths. We clearly don't care.

So exactly what has the governor said about this in the OP? Keep diverting from the reality that personal responsibility exists but apparently you and Sylvester Turner are on the same page. Want to tell us what the vaccination rate is in the blue city of Houston, 59% but don't let that reality and blame placing on Trump supporters get in the way of reality

55% of the population in Houston are Democrats...

Studies have PROVEN that those who had Covid (without any vaccine) are immune, and that it is far more effective than any vaccine, while we have proof that the vaccinated get it again and pass it on. Did you not know this?
It is so easy and so much fun to prove you're wrong...

And even if you have lots of natural immunity, getting vaccinated significantly boosts your chances of staying healthy, according to data published last month by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The agency studied more than 7,000 people, and found that unvaccinated people who’d recovered from Covid were five times as likely to catch it again, compared to people who got two doses of an mRNA vaccine from Pfizer or Moderna.

Now you provide a link that proves me wrong! Betcha can't do it. Why must you consistently post mis-information? Does it make you feel superior despite the fact you're ALWAYS proven wrong?

The above is pure unadulterated bullshit.

It's mah freedum to drive drunk! So long as you're sober, you'll be fine!

So tell me what other nation has the free press and has credible reporting for 330,000,000 people?
