Mass shootings are mostly gang related. What you mean is school and workplace mass shootings. 100% of all school shootings are by people with mental illness. They fall into one or more of three diagnosis, Schizophrenia, anti social personality, PTSD. Lately there have been few with autism but that diagnosis isnt clear. In every case we know in advance that the killer will act violently. The send clear messages and are in mst cases already diagnosed. Schools refuse to expel them as they have become the new mental institutions and we cant mandate long term treatment. So we allow violent crazy people to stay out of residential treatment refusing treatment.
