As far as I can tell, two of the greatest factors in nutjobs going off and realizing their objectives are:

A. A prior history of criminal violence.
B. Easy access to firearms.

There could be many others, but your post just seems pointless.
 

But prejudice is totally fine for you, isn't it? What's the purpose of the emoticon? Are you not quite willing to admit you're dead serious about your hate for those with differing political leanings?
 
C. The internet doesn't filter out unreality, which is vastly different from most prior information provision systems.

Oh, I absolutely despise Trump supporters. But I won't hurt them. Why would I do that? Look at these Trump supporters who once defended right wing media and rhetoric through atrocities perpetrated by right wing assailants now condemning left wing media and rhetoric with a left wing assailant. Is that the level of thinking I want to aspire to? That sort of glorious lack of self awareness? Nah! I can hate just fine without being violent or a hypocrite.

More and more, posting on social media does seem to be the common denominator in many of these shooting sprees. It's likely that's where they indoctrinate themselves, too.

After the shooting of one of their own, it looks like the GOP congress is starting to think their speech might have something to do with it, too.
 

what do you consider "easy access to firearms"? this guy apparently was from Illinois which has the sort of gun control laws that gave sarah brady wet dreams. Since he was a resident of Illinois, he couldn't have legally bought any firearms in Virginia

LOL Like all the posts about how lefties are the violent ones aren't about hate? Right now the ratio is about 50 to 1 in favor of the righties having the most haters.

Nobody's defending atrocities. However, I don't recall too many righties who are now demanding that lefties "own" this shooter who were rushing to accept, say, Pizzagate Guy as part of their ideology.

What President trump is pointing out is the only real evidence od election fraud was by Democrats not the Russians.
 

I'm unfamiliar with IL gun control statutes, but someone with a history of DV has, IMO and to my experience, no business possessing one.

Also...why do state gun control laws matter, when one can just go to another state that has more relaxed gun laws? What's to prevent them from just bringing it back with them? Just asking because I'm curious...I see 2nd amendment folk bring up state laws, but unless the law is same across all states, what difference do they make to criminals?

that's worthless given in Mexico its almost impossible for people to legally own firearms and dozens of police, judges etc have been murdered by armed drug cartel members.

in other words, passing laws don't prevent bad people from having access to firearms
 


this demonstrates the paucity of knowledge we usually see from anti gun posters.

1) you cannot buy a handgun in another state-even from a licensed dealer

2) you cannot buy any gun from anyone in another state who is not a licensed dealer. So private sales that are INTERSTATE are BANNED FEDERALLY

3) its a state violation to buy a gun in another state and bring it to a state where that gun is not legal

so how many other laws do you want-let me guess-you want to ban people from owning guns?

under FEDERAL LAW-pursuant to the idiotic Lautenberg Amendment, even a MISDEMEANOR DV conviction (which could have been a guy slapping his daughter for getting knocked up) creates a lifetime federal ban on legally owning or possessing firearms

I recall pretty much every time there is a rw shooter there is always somebody rushing in to say that he's not rw. When that fails it's "he's a lone nut". Same voices generally rush to tell us that this last shooter is emblematic of the left or a significant portion of the left.
