Daily KOS Put Bullseye on Rep. Giffords.

Then why are we even talking about the stupid graphic. look at the link, those are surveyor marks. you called me dishonest. i proved you once again, wrong.

they are also crosshairs, and we both know what they were intended to be, don't we? THAT'S where you are blatantly dishonest, for ever even suggesting they were meant to be something else.

It's called having class and taste, the poor lady was shot, any imagry that MIGHT look like a target, or what not, if she kept it up, there would be 50 threads by the kooks on this site about how insensitive she is... Oh who am I fooling, there already is 50 threads on palin because some crazy a-political d00d shot a pro-gun congress woman in the head...

the dishonesty of all this is a new low for some people here.

It doesn't take more than 2 brain cells to figure out that they are crosshairs, Rev. There were complains about her poster WAY before the shooting, so she knew that the talk has been out there. Once the shooting happened, the site was scrubbed fast. She used poor judgement.... can you admit at least that?

I see nothing wrong with using crosshairs, or that poster, or her rhetoric. the left has used it as well. its metaphor. common.

that said, it was in good taste and respect that she would take it down after this shooting.

it's in poor taste for folks to start 30 threads on her trying to link her to a nutbag.

they are also crosshairs? which scope model uses such a setup, and how do you guage distance on such a sighting system?

thanks.

Rev, a surveys tool is like a scope, like a GUN SIGHT! Why it's just obvious Sarah Palin was trying to secretly incite death squads to kill her political enemies. SHEESH, I mean every good, important and intelligent person says so now!

;)

Listen to what rightie Elizabeth Hassleback has to say here back in March:

Rahm Emanuel has now issued a statement about how his "you never let a good crises go to waste" statement wasn't meant for 'situations like this'.

do you think that he used poor judgement in that original statement, or was inciting violence?

It's the same thing. :doh

Good gawd.. the partisan hackery knows no bounds.

You are comparing apples to cinderblocks. Its not the same thing at all.

She's been hanging out with the liberal elite for too long.

in a shocking turn of events; Democrats agree that criticism of Democrats is beyond the pale, and possibly should be criminalized....

It means get energized, get some coffee, the elections aren't over yet. There's work to do!

Oh, or I guess it could mean, "now that your gun is empty from killing people, reload and kill some more." Yea, that must be it.

What is your point? /facepalm

Me: There were complains about her poster WAY before the shooting

You: Link please.....

Me: (embedded video proof)

You: facepalm

Me: ???
I supplied a video of Giffords herself complaining about it. What else do you want?

An al Qaida Christmas Card??? Well first of all her point is dull and stupid. Second, al Qaida doesn't celebrate Christmas. Hasselback is a ****ing moron.

What about Giffords point of view? Going to poo-poo that too?

Consistancy? a little less bias perhaps? let's start there.

Apparently, only if you have an R after your name. If you have a D, then the first one is the only possible way to interpret her post. Or so those with a D after their name tell me. ;)

Wow, I'm finding it amazing that some of you have no issue with comparing Sarah Palin to Daily Kos. Heck, I'm not complaining one iota, though, as I think both can reach the depths of scum sucking.

What I find really interesting is why Sarah scrubbed her website hours after the shooting. She doesn't strike me as the type to do such a thing. I would have expected her to --*ahem* 'scuse the play on words--stick to her guns. Did she feel somewhat guilty for her irresponsible choices or was she afraid of the possible ensuing attack?

Since Palin was being partially blamed for the Gifford shooting about a millisecond after it happened she probably didn't want people to continue to use it as a reason to attack her. How respectful would it have been to leave it up there regardless of whether she was being attacked? Palin didn't have to be guilty about what she put on the website but it is hard to not have doubts at the moment you are being critcized about such a horrific event. And attacked unfairly I might add.
