All the sponsors currently are Democrats. The chance of this getting passed is almost zero, but it shows what many Democrats want to impose on this Country
Text - H.R.5717 - 116th Congress (2019-2020): Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020 | Congress.gov | Library of Congress
the biggest joke is listing hundreds of firearms-many of which are obsolete and no longer relevant as NOT banned.
LOL, wont pass, Pro-gun is winning
the point is-when some claim the Democratic Party is not anti gun, this shows otherwise. It will get lots of support from Dems. Maybe even a few RINOS.
is the perfect time too, while America is focused on that virus, lets sneak some legislation in

here is the bill look under the Cosponsors
have a nice day
It's not going to become law.
I hope it gets lots of press before the election-I hope Joe Biden-assuming he is your nominee-makes it a major part of his campaign.

To me, it's an enigma. Confusing.
Democrats elect democrats. And just about 99% of the democrats I know are gun totin' pro-2A kinda people. Who are electing these people?

what prior failed act?you mean a prior failed act?
what prior failed act?
it is the same bill YOU listed
I just looked up the Bill YOU listed and looked up who cosponsored it
and it has / had 9 Republicans and 6 Dems
Have a nice day
I know-but it is an obvious bit of proof which party is the gun banning party
i'm not anti-gun for responsible adults, but getting the orange moron voted out is my top issue. we can worry about hobbies later.
That is the bill Turtledude posted I just took the info he posted and looked up the cosponsorsIF you look at it the one you listed it is from 2018. If you look at the one from the OP it is from 2020. So he is correct that it is a failed prior act. They took a failed bill and are trying to pass it again.
Biden said openly that he is "coming for the gun manufacturers"
Luckily for the USA, the doddering old fool probably won't be able to recall any manufacturers name by November.
my guess is that the hobby won't be disrupted no matter who wins. there's too much money in it.
