Since you only do it "when nobody is looking", there's no way in hell you (or anyone else) can prove it one way or the other.

Like the "does tree falling in the forest when no one's looking make any noise?" one, it's impossible to prove...or disprove.

I think there's something in quantum physics like that too…But as I only have a glancing knowledge of such so far...
