Democrat governments in blue, sanctuary cities will give you high crime rates.

No one wants a dictatorship in a city or state. People want strong, even authoritarian leaders, if that is a price to pay to get lower crime rates.

It's the wrong question. Do you want long term solutions or cheap and easy short term solutions that don't actually address the problem?

We've seen this before. The Cops flood a neighborhood and arrest everyone that is doing anything. The Crime rate goes down, and the Cops leave celebrating the victory. The Crime rate goes back up, and a few years later they do the same thing over and over again. It's whack a mole. You pound one when it raises its head, but you don't stop the reality.
