I think this thread title is wrong.

I don't think either China or left leaning political elites wanted to destroy America. Neither of them would gain anything and they both would lose a lot. China would lose the largest consumer market for their products and the left wouldn't have a country to try to control anymore.

No...I think both China and the left used this to destroy Trump. It didn't work.

However, this just goes to show how calloused, uncaring and downright evil they are because millions died around the world because of their actions. Not only should China and the left be condemned for their actions...they should be severely punished. Death would not be severe enough.
