I guess that was tactically a smart move for her to go into hiding while her plan was being beat to ****. But if she's so proud of this program, she should stand out there with her hammer and sickle flag, and brag about it. It doesn't matter that it's pathetically stupid, she should stand up for it. I applaud McConnell for planning to bringing it up for a vote.

The GND is simply a non-binding resolution which establishes "goals" - much like a campaign promise or, as Pelosi put it, dreams. It is not a bill which either bans or funds anything at all.

lol. "Deal" -> "Goals" -> "campaign promises" -> "Dreams". It certainly relies on rainbows and unicorns for power.

The term I thought appropriate was "Manifesto" - 'a public declaration of intentions, opinions, objectives, or motives, as one issued by a government, sovereign, or organization'. A great tool to see what Ocasio-Cortez is about. It also has no place as a policy statement for our congress, and really not for either party.
 

The government... shouldn't talk about its goals?

I don't recall so much a an eye roll from any of our liberal friends.

Yep, yet one does not need facts or rationality to argue for (or against) a policy. It was amazing how fast the GND FAQ web page (and, of course, the supplied answers to them) was deleted.
 

The H Res is a resolution published in the House record for anyone to read. I have a personal copy of it. How can any of it be covered up? The fact is it is a listing of Global and National problems and a list of suggested solutions. No criticisms I have seen directly address any of its content. AOC is not in hiding and if anyone tries to debate her on specifics I guarantee they will have a tough time of it.

The GND is more like wanting to ride a unicorn across a rainbow and to pay those who simply want to watch it happen. BTW, flying to the moon used the wrong energy source.
 
I'm not sure why Ocasio-Cortez is holding back from demanding everyone farts unicorns and making mandatory weekend night folksy sing alongs around a campfire in her little manifesto.
