Core Inflation Falls To Lowest Rate In Four Years

A 25% gdp growth in 4 years is very good.

A boom really
That was in Q3 2020, I believe.

Maybe Q4.

It would be good for a year. Better even for just one quarter.

Biden inherited a booming economy that was seeing massive reductions in unemployment, low inflation and massive positive gains in income and multiple quarters of gdp growth, falling childhood poverty. It was the envy of the world.
..and Trump inherited an even better economy, that experts (as opposed to some random DP poster) actually said was the 'envy of the world"

Pretty good start for any president.
You may need your memory checked. Biden was handed an economy that was in the throes of a quick recession caused by Covid. The economy was actually a mess when Biden took office.

So what is your point? Did SS fall behind inflation?

Wages did, until Biden was kicked out.
Not true, wages did generally keep pace with inflation...

BTW, Biden was not "kicked out", he didn't run. I am concerned about your memory.

25% growth in one quarter is absolutely amazing. Perhaps record breaking

I thought the new president with a R congress was going to reduce deficit spending.
That's why they were voted in.
But now, they are increasing deficit spending based on non partisan calculations of the House passed budget. That is what trump wants.
As I've expressed, I'm less than enthused with that bill, and my position is that US federal spending should go back to pre-COVID levels.

Outside of Biden's term, this is true.

He didn't run? What? He literally won like 96% of the Democrat primaries! He ran until a few weeks before the DNC convention!

What are you talking about. You seem very confused.

Maybe? This say 35%, not 25, so I may have misquoted. Or that could have been gdp and not real gdp?

Well given that the quarter prior had a massive decrease and that the growth in that quarter basically was to make up for the decline it is not as impressive

Just record breaking, possibly. Certainly few single quarters make up the entirety of a drop the quarter before, but context is indeed important.

Blast furnaces are old Tech and more efficient and cleaner Arc furnaces are taking their place. Trump knows this but the fraudster can't change his spots.

Blast furnaces are old tech but they’re far from obsolete. They’re still used for extracting iron form ore to create virgin steel, while arc furnaces are primarily used for recycling scrap.

That's talking about the American economy in general, over decades. Not what Biden left.

Trump is a loser who shouldn't be president.

But that doesn't change the fact that Biden made things worse for poor people, better for rich people, and inherited a growing economy that had lots of room to expand.
But this is hilariously and stupidly incorrect. As you have been shown dozens of times when you trot this MAGA nonsense out.

Not for poor people.

You're telling 2x as many hungry children, and record percentages of families needing food stamps, and all the people that can't afford housing... that they should like the economy that led them to this?

Really?

Billionaires benefited from Biden's economy. Poor people did worse. GDP didn't go to poor people; it went to rich assholes.
The economy boomed for absolutely everyone under Biden. More so than under any other president this century.

But this is hilariously and stupidly incorrect.

How did doubling childhood poverty and making record numbers of families need food stamps benefit poor people?

Please explain?

Childhood poverty doubled...

Food stamp usage hit record levels.

What are you even talking about? Why would you think this?

No more than that feckless arsehole in the White House now, hell-bent on trashing your economy.
Yes, he is following the Biden administration; it's a dumb plan for sure!

How did doubling childhood poverty and making record numbers of families need food stamps benefit poor people?

Please explain?
The economy boomed for every man woman and child in the US. More so than under any other president this century. I know how much that pissed you trumpers off.

A record breaking decline followed by a record breaking increase, balancing each other out

Childhood poverty doubled.

Your propaganda does not match the data or the experience of poor people.

I wish you were right!

Except for all those poor kids. And the record numbers of families on food stamps.

We get that you don't care about them - for sure that is your point.

But they don't disappear just because you don't care about them.
