Both incidents are childish.A legendary fast-food chain is in hot water after refusing to serve Donald Trump supporters.
Shannon Riggs and her cousins were turned away from a Cook Out in Colonial Heights, Virginia, on Friday night, when they showed up in Donald Trump shirts and hats, WTVR reports.
Apparently, when Riggs attempted to order from the window, decked out in Trump apparel, an employee yelled "Hell no! I'm not serving them."
The family's orders were eventually taken, but they say that they never received their food. Eventually Riggs said she canceled her order and the family had their money refunded — but they were not satisfied with the situation.

Those of you who said it was the towtruck driver's right to refuse to tow a Sanders supporter, do you feel the same about this restaurant's employees refusing to serve Trump supporters?

Yes. No one has a right to the labor and property of someone else unless they agree to the transaction.
"Once you witness [discrimination] firsthand, it's a totally different experience," Lauren Wolfrey, one family member, told WTVR. "I was in a state of shock."

For the longest time I would defend the average individual as being reasonably intelligent, but lately after Trump and crap like this I'm starting to re-think that.Yepper. Beat me to it.
The unity in this country is just amazing. Ain't it?
No, I said they were both childish. And they ARE both childish. You are addressing the right of an individual to do something. And I agree they have said right... but it's still childish. They have that right, too. They are however different. A capitalist not serving someone that doesn't even want them to own a business is in some ways setting the socialist straight. If you don't like capitalists then do yourself and capitalists everywhere a favor and don't ask capitalists to give you service. Why in involve yourself in a transaction with someone that wants you to lose your property? Why involve yourself with a capitalist when you hate capitalists?

I support a businesses right to serve whom they choose. I also find people who parade around as walking billboards for a politician are nitwits and I'd just as soon they stay out of my business regardless of their chosen one.
Where I live, Americans are mostly liberals and when President Obama was running the first time they were so loaded with Obama paraphernalia they looked like clowns. For some reason the second time around there was much less.
So the liberals tried to steal the family's money without providing services. That is how most liberals live their lives so this behavior isn't surprising.
There was no evidence the lady the towtruck driver refused to serve wanted him to lose his property. Please stop perpetuating the lie that she did.

If it was the business owner, they should be allowed to refuse service.

From what I read it wasnt the owner or even the manager, the employee that did it was fired on the spot...problem solved. If it was the business owner, they should be allowed to refuse service.

If someone doesn't want my business that's OK, just LMK, because I don't want to support their business.
Unless it is a Christian baker....right?
Another example of the left's hypocrisy.
If I own the business I can decide to serve who I want.
Don't like it? Start your own damn business.
