Kyle Rittenhouse is another prime example of bad reporting with facts. The misreported Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown stories is another bad reporting by these bias clowns.
All those stories fell apart and just proves how bias the leftist media is.

You won’t win me over with Zimmerman or Rittenhouse.

While they may not have been guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and I agree they likely weren’t guilty beyond reasonable doubt, they were certainly stupid. Nothing about their actions suggests common sense.

I have a problem with dumb people owning and using guns. They are dangerous to themselves and others. I’d prefer they leave their protection to professionals, like myself, if they are going to be that stupid.

I do not have a problem with civilians, who have taken the time to know and become proficient in the owning and use of their weapons, being armed. Just bar the mental health challenged, criminals and dopes from having them.

pretty much nightly Fox opinion shows. Ingram is a populist same as myself so I dont miss her. Hannity and Jessie are OK but way too hysterical at times.
And the 6PM Fox report. Which has has been the very best of any evening news.. I dont do daytime TV or talk radio
 
A RINO is basically a conservative who talks a big game, but is afraid to actually do anything. McCain and Romney were lousy candidates.

Anyway, I listen to several of the people listed, not routinely, but now and then. I skip around. I'm not fond of Newsmax because they seem like shills to me, and for a news network their production values don't impress me. Lefties here always talk about how Fox News supported the idea that the 2020 election was stolen, but from what I've heard News Max did that to a far, far greater extent. Fox really does not say the election was stolen, but they were sued for saying it. Must have been one or two of the editorial talking head shows, because that certainly has not been the position of their news department.
I don't know. I had already decided on McCain over Obama right up until he announced Palin. He could have picked anyone else and would have had my vote.

The night he announced Palin; Barak Obama won the presidency.

And I'm a liberal. There is not any conservative active today that I would consider voting for.

The republican party hasn't move anywhere but comparing the extreme element of the democrat party in comparison it would seem to have moved to the right.
Trump in the 90's was a democrat as is/was some of his cabinet. Gabbard was a democrat rep from Hawaii and Kennedy comes from a very life long democrat family.

I like you listen to a range of commentaries from a spectrum of viewpoints.

One that I really have liked lately is Brad polumbo, Tarl Warwick, Carl Benjamin. Handful of others.

They're called RINOs because they don't support the party, and side with the Democrats. They don't support Trump, who is not a move to the right, but a move to populism.

Trumpism is the opposite of populism. Populism is supposed to favor the common man vs the elite. Trump may have conned people into thinking he is a populist, but he is far from it. His administration is led by the wealthiest elite of any administration in history and is furthering their interests, not those of the common man.

Trumpism has turned out to follow the pattern of the radical right as in:

the politics of the United States, the radical right is a political preference that leans towards ultraconservatism, white nationalism, white supremacy, or other far-right ideologies in a hierarchical structure which is paired with conspiratorial rhetoric alongside traditionalist and reactionary aspirations. The term "radical" was applied to the groups because they sought to make fundamental (hence "radical") changes within institutions and remove persons and institutions that threatened their values or economic interests from political life.

That is nonsense! I've tried to watch that gentleman and his wife, and he is no Conservative. He and his spouse are mouthpieces of Leftist propaganda as bad as anyone on CNN or MSNBC.

Now he MAY have been Conservative way back when he was in Congress. But IMO he has clearly turned to pandering for the Left on his TV show.
His wife is a leftist. Joe is a small government conservative. As such he is opposed to the radical insanity of the Trump administration.

Some time ago Fairleigh Dickinson University did a current events study to see how well people who consumed information from various sources could answer questions about current events. Unfortunately, viewers of Fox News scored lower than those who consumed no news at all.

On the other hand, those who were consuming information from NPR scored the highest. No wonder Trump and other Republicans want to get rid of NPR!

It never ceases to amaze me how your lot is completely blind to how far you have shifted to the right, to where you can say something like this. I watched McCain's political rise, how he was very GOP mainstream, so much so that he won the '08 primaries to be the nom. What he got was the blowback of the Bush recession, not his fault, but what do we get from MAGA now?

"Obama lite".

And then you wonder why we are aghast at what you are, what you have become.....and you deny it, even though you say crap like this.

I listen to Bret Baier’s show “Special Report” on Fox on my way home from work. I also listen to MSNBC, Michael Smerconish and I like Dan Abram’s show on Sirius/XM. I watch the local news in the morning to see how many idiots we’re playing bumper cars on the freeway.

Smerconish is probably my only "must watch" cable segment of the week. CNN did a great move putting him on Saturday mornings. My Saturday mornings aren't complete without him.

I really like his real-time polling & results.

Have you considered News Nation? You come across as reasonable, rationale, and balanced. You might find News Nation's Indie ethos refreshing. I know I do.

News Nation reminds me of the CNN of decades ago, where factually presented reporting was the ethos, and a good mixture of Conservatives & Liberals provided insight & commentary.
 
We are partial to listening to Bret Beier on Fox News.

I second your choice of Bret Beier. He might have the best panels in the business.

Most importantly, his panels are always have high decorum. I can't tell you how refreshing & appealing that is.

John Roberts and Sandra Smith on Fox News at 10 and 11 am are honest and straightforward. Of course, they're biased. It's Fox News.
The weekend Journal Editorial Report on Saturdays is quite good. This has Paul Gigot, Kim Strassel, Dan Henninger, and Kyle Peterson who are all great pundits. If you don't like them, then you won't like anyone on Fox News.

Dayem. You're hitting some great sources! Weekend Journal Report is another of my favs.

I consider these all to be quality Conservative sources, sources that I as a Lib too go to.

I have stopped listening to Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Tucker Carson, Bill O'Reilly. They are firebrands and too hysterical for my tastes.

We also watch CBS and ABC nightly news along with the PBS News Hour because of the guests they have.

Without a doubt. I can't last more than 10 minutes with Hannity.

BTW - Not trying to shill too much for them, but you too may be a candidate for News Nation. They do seem to to take their striving to be Indie in a serious vein.

The Dems moved Left, but the GOP did not move Right. They moved Populist and Authoritarian. In fact, they've eschewed some their former Conservative principles.

And crazy as it sounds, as a Lib I find I can relate to Conservatives, whereas I often cannot relate to MAGA.

Conservatives have many of the same overarching principles & ideals as I do. MAGA does not. In fact, MAGA too often displays the antithesis of my principles & ideals.

May we live in interesting times . . .

Yes. I agree. Trump has fostered & established a Populist political movement in his base, but his ruling cadre is Authoritarian Oligarchal masquerading as Populist.
