I think it's the liberals not wanting conservatives to accept 'diversity'.

It's more along the lines of when something is continually shoved down your throat, you tend to gag after a while. If people would stop hyping physical charcteristics as the primary reason a person achieved a goal, and instead addressing their success of achieving that goal as a human, people would stop seeing the differences.

But that doesn't make for good divisive politics, now does it? :wink:

And liberals vote for liberal Republicans. There just tend to be very few of those. The GOP has been purging them.

There are Christian Democrats, by the way. Liberals wont vote for the bible-thumping, gay bashing, science-denying evangelical types. Sorry, the Big Tent doesn't include people who hold views in direct opposition to scientific reality and demand that those views be taught in a science classroom.

To a liberal, someone even mentioning their faith is "Bible thumping" and anyone who does not bow down before the gays and worship them is "gay bashing". Nice try though.
 
Thanks for posting the test paper. It is astounding that it is entitled a science quiz instead of a religious quiz. The student actually scored 0, not 100. I'm pretty tolerant of religion but this one does stretch things pretty far.

Not, you know, interjecting it into childrens' "science" education like this image shows? You think this image only qualifies as "mentioning" their faith?

Legalizing same-sex marriage is "worshiping" gays? Is that what you're suggesting?
 
Both political parties in America are absolute jokes.

BUT!

Overall I'd say that far right Republicans and Evangelical Christians in particular are much more likely to be about exclusiveness than inclusiveness.

no, it is more like "Someone either is unsure of their reading comprehension abilities or are trying the old SSM strawman. If only they could figure out a way to call me a racist too they might get a gold star from the DNC". Progressives are anti-religion. They are so brainwashed into the gay agenda that anyone who doesn't agree with it is an evil conservative christian and they must be stopped.
 

This is a classic overgeneralization fallacy. You need to start using the word "some" in your sentences in order to not make such erroneous statements.

advocating diversity is equivalent to discrimination it is the same as having race quotas putting people into categories based on the color of their skin

its like calling a polo club a racist club because it has no black members when have you ever seen a black polo player? is it because blacks are not allowed to play polo or is it because they have interest doing so?

I can't imagine putting out the resources in terms of stables, horses, grooms, etc., to play polo. I'm sure most blacks have better ways to spend their money, too.
