Conservative Rhetoric Getting More Violent

Anyone else notice the rhetoric of the American rightwing is getting more and more violent?

Recently we had Tucker Carlson ask, 'Why don't we have a real insurrection?" That was his response to another conservative who claimed undocumented immigrants were getting $1400 Visa cards.



We had former national security advisor Michael Flynn agree with a QAnon nutter that we should have a coup like Myanmar did.



And now we have Congressman Matt Gaetz state, "We have a 2nd Amendment in this country and I think we have an obligation to use it." This was in reference to Silicon Valley and Big Tech.



How long before we have some nut assassinate a politician, media figure, or a CEO? This is absolutely ridiculous.

After reading your post, I'm sure everyone can imagine Tucker saying in his own defense, "But I'm only asking questions!"

I really dislike seeing a gullible and conspiracy-minded subset of our populace getting so transparently ginned up by politicians and talking heads who will later assume no responsibility if someone gets all January 6th-y again in direct response to what these people have said.

Politics aside, to what extent should public figures bear responsibility for their violent rhetoric?

Have you noticed that the DEM's have kick out US from shelters to house Criminal illegals? Notice how DEM's are reversing all the AMERICA FIRST policies ? Notice how the DEM's are always willing to financially destroy America by making us go bankrupt ?

Now as for your delusion of Right Violence. Just remember Millions of Americans (mostly the Right leaning) have many guns! On top of that they collectively have like a Billion rounds of Ammo ! So it's pretty obvious that they are not the Crazies you wish they were...

I am a huge supporter of the 1st Amendment. I don't think any of those individuals should be prosecuted in civilian court, although I can perhaps see a court martial for Flynn. Obviously I have no problem with publicly shaming them (also freedom of speech).
