Systemic racism is though. As is the erosion of the middle class.Conservatism isn't a bug, it's a feature.

It's okay if you're attracted to ...Social progress is whatever you decide progress is. If trans men competing against normal women is progress to you, that is just your opinion. Many think just the opposite. If Drag Queen Story Hour is appropriate for your child , that's your opinion. many think otherwise. Who sets the standard for normal and progress? If you believe in infinite genders outside of man & woman is correct for you. have at it . Don't force it as national policy.
Systemic racism is now a political tool. It always will be. Liberalism needs social chaos.Systemic racism is though. As is the erosion of the middle class.
By your thread, these appeal to you as you call it progress. Your party calls it progress, your party wants it national policy. It's why you support democrat policy. It's okay if you're attracted to ...
A system that benefits the majority is better than a system that benefits the minority.Sure, if we assume that the thing to be changed is:
1. Something that actually makes society livable and decent, as opposed to, say, livable and decent for some but not all.
This one's easy. In order for an "upgrade" to be valid, it must be good according to the standards that existed before the upgrade.2. Is being torn down rather than upgraded or replaced with something objectively better for everyone.
"Conservatives are afraid of change" has always been a progressive caricature. Conservatives are afraid of progressive change, just as progressives are afraid of conservative change. The caricature seems plausible only because it's been so long since the latter has happened. We should be careful with any important changes in life, but not irrationally afraid of them.
Nor do they discover themselves. In a world where power is given to self-appointed bug-fixers, bugs will easily be found where none exist.Bugs don't fix themselves.
You can't prove it to be true.Yeah, I figured that's what you disagreed with.
What's wrong with my claim?
Then I would like to ask what do conservatives add to america? Their whole platform is we want lower taxes to spur job growth which by now everyone should realize that's bullshit. What does conservatism do for america? It doesn't want to help americans out even during a pandemic but is willing to spend a ton on the military. The wealth gap is ever increasing while they vote against a minimum wage increase. They provided no health care improvements, spent a ton of money on a wall and pissed off most of our allies. Again I ask, what is good about conservatism? You have dumbed down politics to the point of this being dumb.
There is far more to conservatism and liberalism and for that matter far more to the political spectrum in general.
Try again.
Conservatives liked it when women and minorities knew their place (as they saw it). Progressives want to give them a better place.
Conservatives are for progress, they just don't believe progress is solely a government responsibility. After all, most real progress comes from us people. Don't fall into the us vs. them mentality that has been a source of power for Trump. The first part of your statement is correct. "Social progress" means tearing down all norms, values, etc. that make society livable and decent. Conservatives are those who, to one degree or another, oppose this process.
I find the progressive agenda to be equally bad regardless of who's implementing it.Conservatives are for progress, they just don't believe progress is solely a government responsibility. After all, most real progress comes from us people. Don't fall into the us vs. them mentality that has been a source of power for Trump.
Maybe you’re happy in a subservient roleAnd what about minorities and women who are conservatives, Decypher? Are we just too foolish to know what is in our own best interests?
