Congress will consider proposal to raise H-1B minimum wage to $100,000

I'd agree with that one.

But, the issue is making mouth noises about hiring Americans, while hiring foreigners for your business.

Do you know why he selected the foreigners over US citizens?

If not, you are arguing in ignorance.

Buy then... That is your MO anyway...

Obviously, there is some reason why it is more profitable to hire foreigners over Americans. There are reasons why it is more profitable to build factories in Mexico than in the USA. It is more profitable to outsource whatever can be to foreign nations.

If you support the idea of making more of a profit by outsourcing, then by all means, outsource jobs, bring foreigners in to take jobs here in America.

But, if you run for president on a platform of bringing jobs back to America while importing foreigners to take American jobs, then you're a hypocrite, period.

And, when you descend to the level of personal insults while debating on an anonymous internet forum, you've proven you have no argument.

You are jumping to a conclusion based on confirmation bias and denying other possibilities.

But then conformation bias is your friend.

Once again, you prove you have no argument. Well, then, have a nice day!

I don't know the facts. I have presented a possibility, but you dismiss it without evidence, and somehow think you are an all knowing Godlike being in knowing why.

That is your problem with ethics and integrity. Not mine.

The facts are that the new president elect is hiring foreigners while promising to put Americans back to work. Those are the pertinent facts. Why he is doing so is a matter of speculation.

My speculation is that making mouth noises about bringing jobs to America helped to get him elected, which is why he made those noises.

My speculation is that it's more profitable to hire foreigners than Americans, and that's why he is hiring foreigners.

But, even if those speculations prove wrong, the facts still remain. Trump championed the idea of putting Americans to work. Trump is hiring foreigners.

trump is running a business not a charity

If h1b's are being hired at competitive companies trump will too

But he wants to change the law to put a stop to that practice

Do you believe he actually wants to change the law in a way that would directly hurt his own business interests?

It would not hurt is business.

As long as everyone in his industry have to play by the same rules trump is no worse off.

The facts that matter is... WHY!

And it appears he is working on that goal.

Did I miss a major announcement indicating that Trump is transitioning his manufacturing to the U.S.?

No.

Do you know why he has some manufacturing elsewhere?

Do you agree or not that he has addressed the why?

1 true
2 maybe, depends on which is most profitable.
3.That's what he says. Let's see what he does. Those are two very different things.

No.

The why at this point is that he obviously does not believe in leading by example. I know why companies such as Trump's choose to manufacture in Asia and India. I don't envision Trump solving for it.

In that case you have no legitimate complaint until trump takes office

I see you haven't listened to explanations, or completely ignored them.

Typical liberal denial.

And it appears he is working on that goal.

Why is a matter of opinion, not of fact.
It appears he is talking about working on that goal, while continuing to hire foreigners to work in America.

I don't care about excuses. If Trump wants to bash other companies for manufacturing overseas then he needs to reform his own business practices. Period.

According to the Trumpeteers, there are no legitimate complaints about Trump regardless of what he says or does. He can do or say anything and not be criticized for it, at least by his supporters.

It would not hurt is business.

As long as everyone in his industry have to play by the same rules trump is no worse off.

Which is why any legislation he signs will have huge loopholes - for him. His strategy has never depended on being "no worse off." It has always depended on "more."

Yep.

When you don't know the facts, the assumptions are opinions!

You get a gold star!

The why matters.

Like it of not, it just might be very relevant.

There is room for complaints that must be taken seriously

Unfortunately for them, rabid anti trumpeter complaints to not matter and will not be assigned much importance

Pro trumpsters will decide which complaints are important and which are not

It is a common trick in washington to write laws that look good a first glance but contain fine print to amount to loopholes.

We will keep an eye out for that if it happens

But unless you purchased one of the latest advanced crystal balls through KnowIt All.com there is no guarantee that all your predictions will come true
