So when its guns the logic they use is "you cant ban guns criminals will still get them"
well when its abortion why do they think banning it will stop people?

When we had a assault weapon ban it lowered gun violence look at statistics
these people will say "banning abortion might not stop it but atleast it will reduce it"
so why isnt that logic used for guns wouldnt it reduce gun violence?

People say that kids are learning about trans people in schools but this is rare
if its only happening in one or two schools its not really a problem but if you use the logic
that one school teaching it is too many well one person shot by a gun is too many
one person dying from covid is too many.

When its covid and the 2 million covid deaths they say who cares
well isnt one covid death too many?

If your gonna say one abortion death is too many if your gonna say one school teaching trans is too many
isnt one covid death and one mass shooting too many?

Four controversial issues in one thread? This should be good. 🍿

This is why it doesn't make much sense, it's not faulty logic they're using is, it's their lack of any. If they were employing logic they would have much more consistent results...

Just because you don't understand the arguments, doesn't mean they're invalid.

Here's a better comparison:

When Democrats say that you're evil if you don't agree with making it a felony to put a pistol grip on a rifle, they really mean it. They're that dumb.

When Democrats say that you're evil if you don't agree with making speeding a felony......oh wait, they never say that, even though it would save 1000 times more lives. Never mind. They're too dumb to suggest that.

Todays issues are similar to the same ones of the 70s where idealism trumps priority. There's not much logical perspective offered in extremist political arguments just gamesmanship.

Or yeah?

Well death penalty mask mandates electoral college.

Don’t forget critical race theory, rigged elections and the border.

When you realize that Republicans are generally lying to you about why they want to do things, it helps to put things in better perspective.

It's not about life. It's about control and maintaining a fairly self centered way of living.
