Comey wanted to EXPAND Russian probe

Do you always quote Rush in your comments? 'trump the troll' is making the rounds .

I have been here for a year and a half, you should know that I dont.

But when I think he is right I sometimes do.

Trump is good at political jujitsu.

That's what this is.

Just because the Mainstream Media is using "unnamed sources" to support and advance their narrative, doesn't mean I have to give them any credibility. You can if you want, but I'll stick to verified, named sources...and then I'll decide if I believe them or not.

Fine with me.

And Comey's foray into political actions started long ago when he had connections with the Clintons, Lynch and various other Democrats. It finally went too far under Obama and the Clinton email probe. Since then, he has been trying to cover his ass.

From what I can see Comey always had good intentions, but he was ruined by Victim Culture. The FBI has to be about justice, and only justice, if the director cant do that then he/she needs to leave.

If these meetings were meant to be a benefit to the nation, Trump's cronies wouldn't have to sneak around and lie about them.

I dont accept your characterization of Trumps people sneaking and lying, and deals need solitude to get birthed so I dont accept your premise either.

As several GOP Senators have joined the call for an independent commission, your post comes off as rather partisan in nature. Did you feel Hilldog was harassed with all the investigations which amounted to what, oh ya, to score political points. Karma is a what?

I think your own comments are openly partisan in nature. Director Comey himself laid out a prima facie case against Mrs. Clinton for violating section 793 (f) of the Espionage Act. It is not harassment to pursue justice against persons when there is good reason to believe they have violated federal felony statutes. In contrast, there is nothing to suggest that President Trump or any of his associates has violated any law. His opponents just want to concoct any reason they can think of to attack him, because they are still pouty that the un-American Marxist liar they so admire did not get to succeed the un-American Marxist liar who had been disgracing the White House for eight years.

Perhaps you need to study journalism and how these things work? Unnamed sources are used constantly no matter which side benefits or is the target and I think you are smart enough to know and understand that.

Some low level staffer to a committee head who was told that information by his boss does NOT want to get their ass fired for revealing it with a name. I think you know that also.

As this story is now front and center on The Telegraph, and The Gaurdian, both at the opposite spectrums politically, I would tend to think there is some truth in the story. It certainly would go some way towards explaining the time line leading up to Comey being let go. The plot thickens, and the GOP just may pay come Nov 2018. Lets put it this way, its sounding a bit like the timeline of the Flynn **** up.

You heard of Flynn? Look it up, who did he work for? Marxist ? Lol

Considering Trump himself contributed to the Marxist Clintons Senate campaign, what does that make Trump?

When people see things that are not there, that is often a sign those people need some sort of mental help

You mean like believing 3-5 million illegal immigrants voted?

Oh no, my dislike of Trump has nothing to do with politics, ask anyone here. The man conned disabled Veterans out of there GI Bill education benefits via Trump U, that alone is enough to make him a POS in my book. One of the Air Forces 3 core values is integrity, something the current CIC lacks, due to his constant untruths, but hey, you just hate for political reasons, do you actually know any Marxist?

I think President Trump's opponents are deliberately trying to conflate the issue of Russia's efforts to influence the presidential election with the distinctly different issue of whether Trump or any of his associates somehow abetted those efforts. If so, they are intentionally dissembling the facts to try to gull the gullible.

Trump is conflating the issue with his poor timing.

Sure...maybe that's it...or maybe some janitor overheard someone say something and mentally filled in the blanks and then talked to some media guy who filled in some more blanks...all based on their anti-trump bias, of course.

Look...I don't care who benefits from touting unnamed sources. I won't give them more than a passing moment of credibility and I certainly won't form opinions based on them.

Give me facts from named, credible sources.

Thanks.

Translation: intellectually dishonest defense of Trump.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Trump has had his supporters well-trained in the notion that one can create facts just by saying words.
Put a sock in it.

There is nothing intellectually dishonest about recognizing that this investigation has yet to bear fruit. There is also nothing intellectually dishonest about the belief that it is likely not to.

Dishonest? Like ripping off disabled Vets, or is that a free pass? Seems to be with many in the Trump Cult. Suggestion, take off the rose colored glasses, guess what you see, PT Barnum.

And what does any of that have to do with the investigation into Russian collusion?

Anyone else notice the second paragraph of the letter?

"While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigations, I nevertheless concur with the judgement of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau."

Seriously?! :lamo

LoL

Yup its all about Trump for sure, and protecting that fat orange butt.

Time will tell on this. I did notice that when the Justice people hit back on this, the media stayed pretty silent for the next hour on it and even kind of backed off a bit. Then they must have checked these sources again and now in late afternoon are sticking by it.

Comey got too political, allowed the FBI to get too politicized, the next director needs to walk that back firmly.

Then why was he not fired immediately? Why fire him the moment the most suspicion would be raised? At the very least, this shows extremely poor judgement on the part of this Administration.

He wanted to expand it based on what? This is America. If you get accused of a crime and it's investigated and the investigation doesn't turn up evidence of a crime the investigation is supposed to stop. If it doesn't stop the investigators are no longer investigating, they're harassing.

The investigation is ongoing. It hasnt ended.

Yes, like I stated, its being picked up by The Telegragh, a Tory Broadsheet, and The Gaurdian, a liberal broadsheet. The Telegragh for sure would not run the story if they did not have reliable sources. Their so in the can for PM May it makes Fox News proud.

Are you in the habit of making big decisions in your first days on the job which you know that you dont understand very well?

I dont do that, because that would be stupid.

Trump is not stupid.
