Comey drafted Clinton Exoneration...

The timeline of the investigation demonstrates clearly that Comey already had access to much information to make an initial opinion about.

You don't know what Comey had or had not at that time and not having interviewed any of the witnesses had no idea what intents or motives were involved which was the ONLY reason he said he chose not to prosecute, a decision which was not even his to make.

But do tell us what was on the server that exonerated Clinton and members of her staff.

Which left ample time for Comey to change his initial impression IF the testimony had turned up something materially different than the evidence he had already examined.

He should not have been prejudicing himself or his staff and we already know Lynch had pressured him not to investigate or recommend prosecution.

Don't know, wasn't on the plane, where you?

They weren't on a plane and he testified as to what she instructed him. You are confusing Clinton and Comey.

After this new information can you imagine Comey as a witness? His credibility is shot to hell.
With all he has done and said he really hurt himself.

So why are here bitching, go do something about it.

What part can you show to be incorrect?

Well, for one, this fantasy that the letter did not flip the election, or that Comey would not know that it would.

Hillary Clinton would probably be president if FBI Director James Comey had not sent a letter to Congress on Oct. 28. The letter, which said the FBI had “learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation” into the private email server that Clinton used as secretary of state, upended the news cycle and soon halved Clinton’s lead in the polls, imperiling her position in the Electoral College.

The impact of Comey’s letter is comparatively easy to quantify, by contrast. At a maximum, it might have shifted the race by 3 or 4 percentage points toward Donald Trump, swinging Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Florida to him...

Do you operate under the delusion that I am James Comey and had access to all the information he did?

Welcome to the way of the world that adults live and work in where people actually form opinions as they go along based on the evidence they see in front of them. Had other later evidence presented itself, Comey was ready to change as his actions of October clearly indicated and he took an action which many feel hurt Clinton greatly and may have cost her the election.

She made mistakes. No doubt about it. I have never said otherwise.

And despite that she still garnered more than 2.8 million MORE VOTES that the other guy.

Come played a role in her electoral defeat and so did the Russians.

A mistake is forgetting to remove those not to be removed from the library papers you stuffed down your pants before leaving the library. Hiring an IT professional to set up a private server so you don't have to remember where you put the papers is a deliberate action.

Can we debate the trial of the Black Sox also while we are wasting time on already decided cases?

It was before, and it was exactly that--a "draft."

In short, there was no there there in the email investigation. So, Comey was laying out the official response.

Standard case of Republicans trying to discredit a witness because they know Trump is dead in the water. And, of course, the Trumpies are jumping all over it like a life raft.

Didn't Hillery delete those emails after she received a subpoena to turn them over, explain why that isn't obstruction of justice, she probably needed more room for yoga and wedding pictures

Your quote States she violated no Federal law. But she did, didn't she? Didn't Comey simply say no one had ever been prosecuted for that violation and the case was unwinnable?
which isn't his job. his job is to gather evidence and see if there is enough evidence to put it to the DOJ.
the DOJ had already come out and said that they were not going to prosecute.

Lynch tried to get comey to reclassify it from an investigation.

now we know that comey wasn't going to do an investigation that is why he didn't put clinton under oath.

No but I do note you statements of fact for which you have no basis.

So what on the server exonerated Clinton and her staff that you claim Comey knew about?

You don't write memos and start planning how you are going to exonerate when you have not even interviewed the witnesses ESPECIALLY when the entire bogus exoneration was based on the motives and intents of those persons NOT on what was found on the server. And already explained how he had boxed himself in to have to tell Congress about the emails on the Wiener server.

An opinion piece that starts with - Probably Cost Clinton The Election?

That's your proof?

It certainly proves Comey was not pushing for a Hillary victory, which is what this new Comey attack is all about. Pure fantasy.

When did it go to court to be decided? This was never allowed to be closed.

An opinion piece proves nothing. One that starts with probably proves even less.

It's a piece based on facts and figures showing a direct correlation between the letter and Hillary's drop in poll numbers. The "probably" is there because there is no proof of causation. But, the letter proves Comey was not in the tank for Hillary, as I said a couple of times now.
