Maybe not, this remains to be seen. But I do not think this movement and shift in public opinion amongst the youth cannot be reversed so easily. This bipartisan push to trample all over freedom of speech will only radicalize people further. I wonder what people would say if China was mass arresting hundreds of students and faculty members who are protesting on their university campuses. We would never hear the end of how oppressive their regime is.
It is already forcing genocide Joe to change long standing US policy to ignore or support war crimes of allies, the US is leaking that they want to sanction specific units from the IDF for war crimes:
"U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected to within days announce
sanctions against the Israel Defense Forces "Netzah Yehuda" battalion for human rights violations in the occupied West Bank, three U.S. sources with knowledge of the issue told Axios.
Why it matters: It would be the first time the U.S. imposed sanctions on an Israeli military unit."
