Despite President Trump's assertion coming out of the Alaskan Putin meeting, that a Ukraine peace-deal was coming within the week, Vladimir Putin's actions don't seem to be bearing this out.

Seems pretty clear Putin is milking the prospect of peace for all he can. Question is what do we do about it. Trump has said he'll support strong sanctions but only if European nations do the same and stop buying Russian energy. So Far Europe hasn't really supported that idea across the board.
The U.S. needs to get involved with sanctions, but we can't be the driving force unless Europe, all of Europe is all in.

I'd give the Poles a little more respect. At least they showed up for the fight against the Nazi's in WWII even though it was horse mounted calvary vs German tanks. They may lack for good sense but certainly not guts.

I think Putin is crazy, so, it doesn't matter what Putin says to Trump.
I hope we'll be able to keep our Poland trip on the calendar to see the Christmas markets.

Trump's getting played by him at every turn.

I wouldn’t. That was a myth invented by Germany itself to try and portray the Poles as morons.

Their cavalry charged a regular infantry unit, got massacred by the tanks showing up late in the fight, and the press showed up much, much, later.

Is he so naïve to get so badly played by Putin? Or, is he outright lying to us?

I see it as a tough, fearless, & determined people.

I see the glass as half full. I know Trump wants peace but I'm now thinking Putin is lying because he's CRAZY. If you want to call that playing Trump, I'll go along with that.

I am aware 579 Drones, 32 Cruise Missiles, and 8 Ballistic Missiles were used in the attack. Which in my mind, displays rather serious intent.

This isn't about Putin. It's about Trump telling us there would be peace within the week.
