(CNN) Man accused of attacking TV reporter, saying ‘This is Trump’s America now’

Supporting law breakers.

The US Marines....the REAL US Marines....frown on that.
You reminded my of something.

Back in the 80s, during the Iran-Contra hearings. LtCol Oliver North stood up in uniform, swore to tell the truth, and then took the 5th. I had many Marine friends at the time. What North did pissed them off to no end.

I believe those on the right will do a much better job of following rules than those who rioted and burned down cities or the ILLEGAL entrants into this country. Actually, I am confident you are only interested in the rules that you believe should be followed.
"Those on the right" didn't "do a much better job of following rules" on Jan 6.

Was the mob at the Capitol on Jan 6 "following rules"? Or, are you claiming something else? I do love seeing the proof of "something else." So...please fill me in.

Heh heh heh. I didnt even set a trap, but you found one anyway. The answer is no, and I dont think most liberals identify with him. That incident faded quickly, few if any tried to defend it, it became a minor footnote in history.

Until you decided to do exactly what I described (see above)...to use it as an excuse for the right! 😄

The desperate manufactured excuses are what shows the MAGA right "in their true light." And you just presented another to try and excuse it. Wow
I see you haven't changed a bit. Still dishonest as ever.

I see you haven't changed a bit. Still dishonest as ever.

Why would I change? And feel free to quote anything I've posted...ever...that is dishonest.

Did you miss where I gave you a direct, detailed answer to your question? I dunno, maybe the MAGA right arent familiar with that, so they dont recognize it when they see it?

Deportation is not a "round-up". And if there are 20 million illegals in the country, how else to you deport them if not in mass? The term "mass deportation" is just a silly talking point used to rile up lefties.
Let’s start with the criminals in our jails and those gang members. Get them OUT of our Country and back into their own.

Fox and right-leaning outlets didnt publish the same stuff? Or the "non-Democrat propaganda"? Why not? Remember? Shitloads were released later.

Did you watch/read the Jan 6 committee hearings? I did for most of them. If you didnt...how do you know what you are talking about? Just posting based on what you were "told"?
Yawn. As I've told you in the past, if you ever become a serious poster, like Chomsky, and want to have an actual serious discussion, let me know.

I bet you believed the Cassidy Hutchinson story, didn't you. *chortle*

I'm pretty sure Homan will be on that on day one.

Oh! That's ⬆️ MAGA right for retreat! Got it.

🤷 👋

Edit: btw, Chomsky manages to humiliate many of you but he's got "the velvet glove" and you dont even realize it. 😄 I am an admirer tho.

@Chomsky made a thread about an illegal immigrant setting a woman in a NYC subway on fire, and the little racists showed up to beat their chests about forcefully removing illegal immigrants, and how they were a threat to American society, and all of this other thinly veiled klan bullshit that @trixare4kids cheers her goofy friends on.

Chomsky today makes a thread about some Trumpista stalking and physically following a reporter, and @trixare4kids proceeds to try to shut down discussion within 100 posts, proclaiming @countryboy 's dumb posts as "thread winner" like someone gave her that job.

I keep bringing you folks to where the water is but I can't make you drink it.

😃

Is this your way of saying I just can't catch a break? :p

Is this your way of saying I just can't catch a break? :p

I am saying that eventually, you are going to have to realize that not everyone here is your friend in spite of politics, and working so hard to be polite will not stop some from defending some right wing psycho if you end up being the victim for whatever reason, Chomsky.

😉

The left wants to look at Jan 6th as the worst thing that has happened in this country. That is to justify the narrative that Trump and his supporters are evil. As far as Jan 6th goes, it was a bad look for this country and I have no support for any of those that entered the capital. However, no one had guns, no one was fire bombing buildings like we saw in the riots. I want to know how many people have been arrested and put in jail for years for all of the other riots that occurred? I am sure you have a long list.

We have to return a country of laws that are followed. The guy who attacked the reporter needs to spend a long time in jail. The people who are robbing businesses and people across the country need to face harsh penalties. The people who have entered this country illegally should be returned to where they came from. I am very consistent in my beliefs. Break the law, pay the price.

Think of all the times you dismissed valid concerns from teh right, by calling the person a name, like "Racist".

All that angry and frustration, has been building. YOu did realize that, right? Or did you think that you could just piss all over people and they would just take it forever adn nothing would ever blow back on you?
Gestapo; these non-uniformed police used ruthless and cruel methods throughout Germany to identify and arrest political opponents and others who refused to obey laws and policies of the Nazi regime.

You're ignoring the fact trump's violent mob attacked and wounded 140 law enforcement agents on Jan 6.

There were at least 7 charged and convicted of gun charges. But we can all be happy that they didnt use them.

Why would rioters be charged the same as a violent mob trespassing, vandalizing and desecrating a federal building and threatening the lives of Congress, with outright spoken intent to hang Pence and kill Pelosi, and the same spoken intent to overturn the peaceful transfer of power thru illegal violence? Do you not see the difference?

Interesting. Do you have a link, perchance?

It's in the op.

Coworkers who ran out to help and witnesses told police that Alex appeared to be losing his ability to breathe during the attack, which was partially captured on surveillance video, according to the document.

These events can't be compared.

So why did this country elect a felon? Why isn't he in jail?

A riot is a riot. You can't claim one is a bad thing and the other is not. See the difference?
I condemn both. Don't have an issue that someone was shot while breaking into the capital. Just wonder why the same level of force is not used when people are destroying property outside of Washington.
I assume from your comment that you don't believe federal buildings were desecrated, that mobs trespassed on private and public property, and of course no one was killed during all of those riots. Give me a break. The Jan 6th riot should not have happened but it was no where as bad as all the riots that took place across this country. Do you not see the difference?

These events can't be compared.
You are right the riots across the country were far worse than anything that occurred on Jan 6th.
So why did this country elect a felon? Why isn't he in jail?
Because those of us that have a brain, realize that it was a trumped up charge to begin with. *pun intended*

Hmm. Could be because the riots protested decades of murder, while Jan. 6 was a bunch of white guys infuriated that probably for the first time in their lives, they didn't get their way. (Oh NO.)

Interesting that the excuse they used was for murder done by the police, but studies after all of that found that whites were more likely to be killed by police that blacks.
The one thing that really bothers me about it is people want to talk about the color of the persons skin that was killed but not what they were doing.

Wow! Stopped on the street by a former marine turned taxi-driver, "demanding to see I'D's", then tackled on-the-run & chocked to the point of "losing the ability to breath".

I can't believe it will get better when the government raids begin.
I think part of the problem is this “mandate” nonsense that Republican politicians and media are trying to claim. It’s got Trump voters thinking that the country is overwhelmingly in support of Trump! More than half the people who voted did not vote for Trump.

By sheer total numbers? Yes, because there are many more whites than blacks.

And wait. What they were "doing"? Like...they needed to be murdered, or something? Like those videos we all just recently watched? After so many many decades of gas lighting and hiding these crimes, nobody can piss in this community's cornflakes anymore and tell them it's raining.

In other words, you sympathize with the attacker because he's on your side...

Like angel wings forming.
