Some interesting facts of slavery:

At some point in history every couture had it.

Cherokee Indians actually took theirs with them on the Trail of Tears.

Virtually 100% of people enslaved in Africa were originally captured by other Blacks.

90% of African slaves went to Middle East Muslim countries. There is no Middle East Black population today because all the men were castrated and when the raped women gave birth the babies were almost always killed. Conditions were so hard the slaves seldom lasted longer than a few years.

75% of African slaves that were shipped to the Americas went to Latin America, mostly Brazil.

Today African American are 4% of the worlds black population, they not only have the highest average standard of living of any Blacks their combined wealth is greater than the remaining 96%.

There is no Black American alive today who was a slave and no White American who ever owned a Slave. US Slavery was so long ago that no one alive today could have known someone who was an active slave. Even Jim Crow and Segregation ended over 50 years ago.

According to Thomas Sowell: Leftist policies have done a lot more harm to the Black Community than has Segregation, Jim Crow or even Slavery.

Every logical and historically educated person knows that the single most devastating policy for the black community was the welfare state. The black family was extremely cohesive (even more so than whites) and they were gradually coming up to equal status with whites in society. Unfortunately, some of the more rabid politicians in government decided to pander to identity politics and expansion of socialistic policies which completely destroyed and even reversed progress being made. Last time I saw something like 70% of blacks are now born into single mother homes which is such a damn shame.

If a gentleman like Mr. Sowell and other black men like him were touted as the leaders of the black community perhaps some of this wouldn't of happened. People like Al Sharpton are a disgrace and shouldn't be in the realm of politics.

While I personally am at the point of not giving a damn about statues, I don't see what the points you made in your OP have to do with it. Are there statues of historical black and Native American leaders who were slave owners? Do we have statues honoring the black slave traders from Africa? If so are the people that currently want to take down the Confederate statues saying that those statues can stay up?

I'm pointing out that today, Leftist African Americans the people most pissed about slavery are actually the ones who benefited from it the most. In the Alternate Reality where US Slavery never happened they are most likely currently living in Mud Hut poverty. Slavery did not happen to Blacks today, happened to ancestors so far back they never had direct contact with them.

Thomas Sowell may be the smartest man to ever walk the earth......can you say that about any Leftist African American leaders ?

I could name 50 others Thomas Sowell type African American Leaders and Scholars, You cant because today's Propaganda MSM that makes people stupid and angry and that you rely on blocks them out.

Every one of those none-Leftist African Americans has a much higher IQ than AL Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Maxine Waters and Elijah Cummings.
