Understanding that difference is the key to the actual issue and why it is not hypocritical.

Those lawyers had no choice but to do what they did or they would have been complicit in illegal activity. Liberals are trying to pretend they are white horse riding saints for doing what they had to so they wouldn't go to jail.

You're right it's not complicated at all. The only thing different here is the standards of Progressives. Biden's corruption is forcing them to shift the goal posts or condemn him.

What are you talking about? If Trump had handed the docs back, it’s extremely likely the public would have never found out about the whole episode.

Another one is "deliberate" mishandling.
Oh-- guess what? Mr. Biden wrote a book after he left office. Think maybe he had those documents to assist him in writing it?
That would seem pretty "deliberate" wouldn't you agree?

Now all you have to do is prove any connection between those documents and his book.

Trump claims he declassified everything he had. Biden can not make that claim.

Biden had 6 years to go through those documents and get what he needed. Trump had what he had for less than 2 years.

It's also going to be telling to see how the justice dept handles this in contrast to how Trump was treated. Are they going to try to resurrect Clintons intent defense or will they invent a new standard for him. It's all really pathetic and embarrassing for Progressives.

Whatever. The point here is that if we are looking at this kind of stuff from a criminal angle when it comes to Mr. Trump, we have to look at it the same way when it comes to Mr. Biden.
