based on the sayso of the white man that Circle K wanted trespassed from their store.

Ambulance arrives to help the cops...not the guy whom they punched and tazed multiple times.
There is even a Go Fund Me for the officer who broke his hand.

I don't have enough vocabulary to express my disgust, and I can swear in multiple languages...

Sounds like multiple levels of failure and incompetence by these cops.
 
Clearly this shows that there is no racism in the U.S., that police never abuse their power when they put down some uppity black man.

Police constantly abuse their power. They are basically an armed and dangerous gang. Police are a socialist institution, and as such are extremely expensive, destructive, and unaccountable:

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell has dropped criminal charges against a Black, deaf man with cerebral palsy who was Tased and punched by Phoenix police in late August.

Video footage shows officers Benjamin Harris and Kyle Sue punching and using a stun gun on Tyron McAlpin. The release of this footage, shown at a court hearing in McAlpin's case on Oct. 1, prompted public concern, criticism from local leaders and national attention. McAlpin faced aggravated assault and resisting arrest charges.

"I promised I would personally review the case, including a large volume of video recordings, police reports, and other materials that have been forwarded to my office," Mitchell said in a statement Thursday. "I have now completed my review and have made the decision to dismiss all remaining charges against Mr. McAlpin.”

Jesse Showalter, McAlpin’s attorney, criticized Phoenix for referring charges to the prosecutor's office, saying it was a move to limit potential damage to the city.

"I believe they brought these charges not because they believed that any crime had been committed, but because they wanted to cover themselves from civil liability for the assault on Tyrone McAlpin," he said. "And so I am very grateful to hear that Rachel Mitchell has done the right thing, and I know that she made an independent decision based on the evidence."
 
An internal police department investigation is pending. The department’s interim chief, Michael Sullivan, said he would personally review that inquiry's findings.

Mayor Kate Gallego, after watching the footage, expressed concern and highlighted the council’s recent police reform efforts. On Friday, she declined to comment on Mitchell dropping the charges and rejected an interview request from The Arizona Republic.

Sounds like a MASSIVE lawsuit needs to be filed against the city, the state, the county, the department, and the officers individually.

The cop who started the GoFundMe account needs to be terminated on the spot and his post certification needs to be cancelled.

I hope that man and his family sue for 10 figures.

I think posting different local news sources helps with details of what happened.

So we know all charges have been dropped by the county attorney. The correct thing to do.
Mr. McAlpin has an attorney who will probably file a civil lawsuit against the City of Phoenix.

The event is now under investigation by Phoenix police internal division.

This is from the story in The Arizona Republic:

Harris and Sue had been responding to a trespassing call at a Circle K near Indian School Road and 12th Street. The white man they were asked to remove from the store claimed he had been attacked and pointed out a Black man — McAlpin — across the street.

Harris told McAlpin to stop and then grabbed him within seconds, footage shows. There was a struggle among the men, during which Harris used a stun gun on McAlpin four times. The officers punched him over a dozen times.
 
No shit Sherlocks. Charges dropped. Union doubles down. DOJ is right, PPD is out of control. What strikes me is the measured wording of the officers' description of the event. They have done this before.
"fighting stance" BS, didn't happen. he didn't have time to adopt a fighting stance. he adopted a "wtf are you doing stance", as he was totally surprised by the encounter.
"targeted punched" BS. makes him sound like Mike Tyson. maybe that is how they see all black men.
Did the white guy get a false report charge? Assault with a deadly weapon (LEOs) because this was an equivalent of swatting?

The case against the cops will be complicated. The Phoenix Police Department has a training film that addresses the very issue that occurred concerning deaf people. Neither cop watched the training film. Were they informed about the training film? Was it required that all Phoenix cops watch the training film?

According to what has been reported the cops realized at some point they screwed up as their initial report did not mention the fact that the guy was deaf or that he had CP. But the cops knew this immediately after they jumped the guy and beat the hell out of him. His wife told the cops but the cops ignored her.

Sadly this is not the first this type of assault has happened. It has happened in other states and other cities to black deaf men. Hence the need for police training.

To my knowledge this kind of police abuse only happens to black deaf guys. :oops:

There is a video of a white guy who had been arguing with his deaf wife. Apparently the conversation was so animated someone called the police.


At least they figured it out. Maybe they watched the video...they still tried to justify their actions...

I'd like to ask those officers what exactly is someone supposed to do if they get charged at by the police?

It sounds like almost any action on your part can be claimed as a fighting stance and used as an excuse to beat the shit out of you.
Did you slightly raise your hands?
Did you make a sound?
Did you move in any way at all as that all can be considered a threat that needs to be neutralised.

So, in that situation unless you instantly faceplate yourself and stick your hands behind your back they can and will claim anything you do gives them the right to beat you for their safety.

This is supposed to be the land of the free but it seems like it's turning into a police state where the police can just assault anyone at will and then claim damages if they get injured from punching you in the head.

And they wonder why some people have a negative attitude towards the police.
 
I filled out a Medicare form today and it asked for my race and listed it as WHITE as opposed to Caucasian so that for shore means Medicare hates all races other than WHITE. So rise up liberals all over America and burn down everything everywhere.
