Christianity makes nations great

The empirical evidence is overwhelming.

Nations that are full of believers of the Christian faith have always dominated on the world stage.

Once they lose their Christianity and become secular... the nations' power fades.

Begin with Rome. Under Constantine, a great nation.

Then Europe. When Europe was Christian, her nations were unrivaled in the world.

When Europe lost its love for Christ, it faded in to irrelevance.

Now the United States. Long a nation full of Christians, it blossomed and became the dominant force in the world.

Today, the United States is on the verge of willingly giving up its Christian identity. Not unrelated to that, our status in the world is sinking daily, as we lose the Lord's favor.

Your example is historically inaccurate. Let's look at Rome. The Roman Republic was never Christian, but still a great civilization and empire. As for the Imperial era, the Pax Romana wasn't during Rome's Christian phase, but its Pagan phase. In fact, Christian Europe was in many ways inferior to Pagan Rome.

The Islamic Empires were much more advanced in terms of science than their Christian counterparts, for many centuries.
 
The US has been secular from day ONE. And it has been and is the strongest country in the world.

By this logic China, the fastest rising nation in the world, is a Christian nation. Wait a minute.....

That's ignoring the other fallacies like "Europe is irrelevant, Rome started with Constantine, and nations of Christians have always dominated the stage"

Christianity was not in existence at the time of the Roman Republic! Christ was born in year 0 (or thereabouts).

As a baseline, you need to at least begin after a time when enough people call themselves "Christian."

Your point about Islamic empires is politically correct jargon... oft repeated but historically inaccurate.

That is simply not correct. You are talking about the separation of church and state. I am talking about the people leading the country, and the citizens of the country.

People are more important than laws.

Let's cool it on China for a second... China is nowhere near the United States or Europe.

But if the United States continues to depart from Christ, it would not be a surprise to see China overtake the US.

When the people of Israel turned from God, God allowed first the Assyrians, then the Babylonians, and last the Romans to take over the land of Israel.

It was not because these people were God-fearing, it was to punish Israel.

Two different concepts. Whether one has a freedom or not is not about whether one CAN do something.

It is absolutely correct. The laws of the country need to be followed even by who leads that country. Hence, laws trump people, after those laws are created.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Israel was fractured and conquered by all of those people because of poor societal management, militarization of those other peoples, and lack of population.

You said the people create freedoms. The problem is they don't create freedoms but exercise freedoms. Saying now they might not have the ability to do so is an argument of chance and ability, not an argument on the origin of freedoms and the existence of freedoms which you originally made.

What part is "inaccurate," that Rome under Constantine was a mighty power, that Europe dominated the world stage until the United States upended them, or that the United States' relative power has been in decline lately?

Which of those statements is "historically inaccurate?"

I will answer for you. None of them are. You only WANT them to be.
